They came in at the last minute and aided The Russians from the East and the French and English from the West along with the other smaller nations. The major credit in WW2 goes to the Russians if anyone who beat Hitler back from Moscow all the way across Europe back into Germany.

And IRAQ and WW2 are two completely different situations that can't be compared.
