How many of y'all have met celebrities or talked with them and what was the experience like? I've met quite a few and it's always funny to me to see how they act in public. Some are way cool and others think they are the hottest thing goin and won't give you the time of day.

Probably the worst experiences I had was when I met Cory Spinks (former jr. middleweight champion boxer) and we were about to take a picture together and he picks up his cellphone to call someone as we're about to take the picture. wth??? Who does that?

I was at the Knicks game when they were filming the movie Hitch and tried to get at Eva Mendes as she was walking by and she cold dogged me out. No love whatsoever.

At the time, he was Rocky Maiavia or however you spell it, before he was The Rock. I was still like a freshman in high school and I said, hey rocky, you suck. He fired back, "yeah well, F*** YOU KID!!!" I had the nickname F*** You kid for awhile after that.

Different WWF show, Vince McMahon walks by and my friend says "hey vince, how about an autograph?" and he fires back "ummm, I will later" like we're just going to bump into him again somewhere so I yelled out "yeah, your show sucks!!" and he started cracking up.

At the same show, Ken Shamrock was signing autographs before he started getting knocked out in the UFC all the time. He was one of the baddest dudes alive. We were in line and we took up a collection of $100 from people around us. All I had to do was tell him "you ain't so tough, I'll whoop yo a**" and spit on him. I was seriously considering it because he had police all around him. I was pretty sure they would hold him back. I didn't know that would be assault. I puss'd out anyways and didn't do it.

Coolest experiences were meeting Rosalyn Sanchez. I thought she was the hottest thing on the planet and considered asking her to marry me but she was with some dude. I'm still not sure why I let that stop me.

Meeting Bernard Hopkins. He didn't want to take pictures with anyone but I got him to take one.

Met MC Hammer that same night, he was cool with people in the crowd.

Antonio Margarito was a really cool dude to meet. Pretty laid back and loves the fans.

Met a grip of others but those were the ones that stand out

My 'best' celeb experience was in 89 when my mom's softball team played in a fantasy tournament in Hawaii and we got to spend the week with Rickey Henderson. He's always been my favorite baseball player, even before then, so it was HELLLLLLLA dope to me.
He's afraid of the ocean.

My girl and my cousin were at the casino the other night here in Albuquerque and Chistopher Mintz-Plasse (Mac-Lovin) played Blackjack at the table with them (it was late on a Monday so Casino was dead like 4 of them at the table), they said he was a real cool dude, was only betting ~$20/hand and was nervous every time he would lose, he was here filming Fright Night.

I haven't really had any encounters aside from when me and my girl were in Phoenix ~3years ago and were sitting next to Tim Duncan & Bruce Bowen, I didn't approach them because they were eating, Bruce Bowen was checking out my girl when we were passing by em.

Ran into Will Purdue at the Nashville Airport when I was in Middle School when he played for the Bulls and they were tearing shit up, took a picture with him, probably went up to his knee cap

Met Locksmith at Berkeley Rasputins shortly after his MTV Rap Battle, real cool cat who probably thought, "who the hell is this asian kid and how does he know me already?" lol

Met Taboo of the Black Eye Peas outside a club on International Blvd in Oakland five years ago or so (can't remember the name of the club orr what year). He didn't have any bouncers or anything and was a cool dude shakin hands with everyone who went up to him.

Saw Lars of Metallica at a Kinkos eight or nine years ago in Marin County but he was just making copies and seemed like an asshole.

I just copied and pasted this from another thread in the sports forum

I've been a boxing fan for most of my life but my life totally changed when I got free tickets for Trinidad/Mayorga. Great atmosphere at MSG when Tito was fighting and it was a good action fight. Don King donated a bunch of floor seats to the military so I was all up and around the ring even though our seats weren't that close. At that fight I met:

Former HW Titlest Chris Byrd, really cool dude.

Evander Holyfield. He had a mob of security around him but I got a close up shot of where his ear was bitten off

Mike Tyson, tons of security and he looked like he might eat my camera if I got that close to him.

Bernard Hopkins. I was trying to get a picture with him and he was just blowing me off. I was in the coast guard out in new york and I was leaving there in like 5 days and said it would be my last chance to see a fight there since i wasn't going to be stationed there. He turned around and took the picture with me after that. Cory Spinks called out his name I think and he wasn't looking at the camera. I was kinda pissed.

Zab Judah was like a foot away from me but wouldn't take a picture

Met MC Hammer at that fight, he was cool, took a picture

Rosalyn Sanchez, stupid hot and security was kickin me out. I took a picture of her but didn't get to slide up next to her.

Met Dame Dash of Roc-a-Fella records. He was cool. Took pics with him

Noreaga. He didn't say much but took a pic with him too

Met Fat Joe there and took a pic with him

---
Went to another fight, Vasquez/Marquez 1 in Carson CA. Another good fight though not as good as the other 2 ended up being.

Met Floyd Mayweather Sr. Seemed like a crackhead.

We forgot batteries for our camera and security was being a punk so I missed out on chances to take pics with Erik Morales and Antonio Margarito at that fight. Still a cool night though.
---

Went to Pacquiao/Clottey in Dallas.

Met a bunch of people here too. Great time and almost everyone there had a great time even if the fight sucked on TV. That stadium by itself is like a celebrity. It's an amazing sight to behold.

Max Kellerman was really cool. I ended up taking a couple pics with him because they kept coming out blurry. Nice guy though.

I met Jim Lampley and Harold Lederman from HBO. I think Harold was mad faded. Took pics with them.

Met Jerry olaya, the spanish translator for HBO. He was mad cool and told my friend he looked like Cris Arreola which was hilarious. We kept bumping into him all night but he was a cool dude

Took a pic with some Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, also cool for the obvious

Took a pic with Kenny Bayless, probably the best ref out there

Met and took pictures with Kelly Pavlik, Buboy (pacquiao's co-trainer), Vanes Martirosyan, Brian Viloria, Antonio Margarito, Marco Antonio Barrera, Tony Dorsett (cowboys great) Alfonso Gomez, Fernando Vargas, Dan Rafael and Kieran Mulvaney from ESPN and Mark Taffet from HBO and I think some more I'm forgetting.

Also met Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin

City: Los Angeles, CA.

Year: 1995

Location: Los Angeles Coliseum

I was there at a car show and noticed a large crowd of people. My Homies and I worked our way to the center. At first I thought it was a tight looking car, then as the circle got smaller, I figured a bike.

I was dead center of the crowd and couldn't figure out what the people were going crazy for. Until my Homie tapped my on my shoulder, point at me and yelling, "Right there in front of you!" Low and behold right in front of my face was Eazy E.

I was like, "Whoa!" and shook his hand. I remember feeling like I could break his hand if I squeezed hard enough. Then thinking, dude is small and on to thinking he talks a lot of shit on record for somebody of his stature.

My Homie took a pic (no digital back then) with a disposable camera which he later that day dropped by accident and broke  This actually happened like 4 months prior to Eazy's passing.

A few years later I was again at the Los Angeles Coliseum attending another car show. I was admiring a car when my Homie taps me on my arm and kind of points towards some dudes. I look up and one out of the bunch looks familiar. I kinda nod at him & he nods back.

My mind starts to race at 100 mph trying to figure out who it is. I look up again and dude is trippin' out cause I keep looking in his direction. I start to think it's a Homie out from back home in Central Cali, but I don't want to go say what's up until I remember his name.

I had my nephew with me, like 10 yrs. old at the time. And as I look back to see if he's still by my side, it hit's me. I shove my Homie and say, "That's Ice T." He's all, "I know, that's why I told you."

I then say, "Where the fuck is Eddie?" (my nephew) and I look towards Ice T's direction and there is my nephew shaking hands with him LOL!

Went over, met him and bounced.
