Think the people in your city are foul-mouthed and rude? Location-based social network foursquare has scoured the globe to pinpoint the locations in which its members are the rudest.

UK's Manchester tops the list of foursquare places with the highest percentage of tips containing curse words. El Paso in Texas, USA, is second on the list.

"Its good to see that the Mancunians truly are not only the rudest people in the UK, but the rudest people globally, only El Paso comes close," said foursquare in a February 28 post on its engineering blog.

Cities in the US dominate the list with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Bloomington, Indiana; Riverside, California; Tempe, Arizona; Scottsdale, Arizona; Portland, Oregon; Venice, California; and Orange California all making it among the top 10 rudest cities in the world.

Melbourne, Australia is the only other non-US city to make it into the list, however, foursquare didn't evaluate the rudeness of non-English speaking countries.

Ya I mean the whole country, lol Carolina, San Juan, Ponce to the island of Culebra they all wanna get socked in the face I gor into it with some foo at a little food spot I was about to knock his ass stupid out, plus i had hater for his cousin's lol but I had no exit strategy I was lost I woulda high speeded away to the police station on accident.

I really don't find any city in southern California as being rude.

Orange, Fullerton, Riverside, etc.

i found most italians to be really fuckin rude...especially the men. I mean like real italians from the old country. They may be just a different type of people all together though. Also jewish people, like real jewish people are rude. Really rude actually...it must be that whole "chosen" thing they have goin on...


I was in Kona, Hawaii one time when a cruise ship came through and it was full of the cruise ship type people....white....older....visors and chino pants. Lots of them sounded to be from Texas...and were super rude to the servers in the restaraunt/bar. It was unbelievable how rude they were actually.
