This CD is dope...he did this strictly for his peoples and you can tell..its gotta DARK FEELING to it..no bouncy club cammercial tracks..no witty chorus's no LOVE SONGS to stank hoes...nothing..just straight rawness...realness..and truth...you can tell he poored his heart into this..its an aquired taste...if your feelin it then ur feelin it..but if ur not your not...i personally think its a good album...lyrics are on point..and its straight...


i know this isnt BAY related...

but hell yall post threads about Kanye and Loon and shit...


so why the fuck not post a thread bout a ill emcee like royce...

How the hell can I cop it if doesnt even come out till the 24th??? I agree with pretty much all the shit you sayin bout Royce but I think Ill wait and buy it when it comes out as opposed to down loading it or bootleggin it.

royce is alright, ive supported him through his career... bought rock city (v1 and v2)... but he started acting like a dork to d12 and em and them... even if they are the wrong ones, hes still being stupid about it. so i got kinda straight off him for a while, specially since all his most recent songs been sounding the same to me.
might check it out tho

its a quality album, ima buy it soon as i see it on sale here...

play.com dont have it up yet, so ima have to wait a bit i think..

Regardless is a class track, and T.O.D.A.Y...also Hip Hop with the premier beat...

Good question, Sav...

I'm a huge Royce fan...but I'm also open minded and able to accept people's opinions.

Could someone give me some reasons why he's not sought after by larger labels, ie. Roc-A-Fella, Bad Boy, Def Jam...hell, even Shady/Aftermath.

You must have not listened to the 5+ diss songs towards them he put out. Right after Rock City v.2. And like I said, even if Proof and them were the ones instigating it, Royce still went too far and took it way serious, while the others were just laughing at that shit. Wasn't serious shit. He acted dumb.

But yeah I'll check the new CD out, I mean i'm sure its quality, Royce usually is worth listening to.

yea..from what i was told..Royce and Proof fought...and went to jail and talked it out in jail...

then i heard recently that him and and em fixed shit...and might be workin together or something...


that be dope...


personally i think royce should go to DEF JAM...

because i feel at DEF JAM you can become your own artist...

such as LUDA,DMX,METHOD MAN....

because..to me when u hit the ROC its like your in a family...and your in JAY-Z's shadow...

kinda same thing wit SHADY/AFTERMATH...

so id rather see him be his own tyrant...
