16.8 ppg, 3.9 reb/game, 6.3 assists/game, 0.8 steals/game.

Chalmers
10 ppg, 2.8 reb/game, 4.8 assists/game, 1.98 steals/game.

take Wade off the Heat...Chalmers averages just as many points per game as Rose.

Where are you guys getting off claiming Rose is so superior then Chalmers at? just because he was picked #1? The only reason Chalmers fell sofar was because of the hotel room incident at his rookie camp anyway.

Rose averages 5 more minutes per game and is also relied upon more with the bulls then Chalmers is with the Heat. If you put Chalmers in his situation he would be scoring more points too, given that with the Heat EVERYTHING goes through Wade first no matter what...To sit here and say Chalmers is just nothing but a role player at best given his rookie season is fucking stupid. Dude is #4 in the entire NBA in steals, what stat category is Rose in the top 5?

Im not gonna debate with you guys that Rose is a hell of a player, but i will debate with you on whether or not Chalmers is at best just a fucking "role player" though.

^^^Hahahah!! U make me laugh!! Dog Chalmers had a decent rookie season!! He got the PG job by default and actually had a decent year for a lower draft pick!! And if he was on our team instead of Rose he would be a backup cause no way in hell he starts over Hinrich (anotha one of your Kansas folks) so no he wouldnt score more cause he would play less on our team!!! Dog we aint knoccin Chalmers but when u talk like he and Rose arent that far apart, thats just silly talk mane!!! In 1-2 years it will be many moons apart between the 2 watch!! Got Em!!!

lol@ getting the PG spot by default. so it was his fault the rest of the NBA passed on him? it was his fault Miami had no PG?

well if they are like you say "many moons apart" the stats would have said other wise given BOTH their situations this year. rose averaged 5 more minutes a game then chalmers and only averaged 6 more points a game then he did. If he was put in a situation where he was asked to score more he would, trust me! i've been watching him play since his freshman season at kansas and ALL throughout his career there he was NEVER asked to be the "scorer". all the players on his team scored equally, some games he'd lead the team in scoring some days it would be rush, arthur, jackson, collins ect. dude can score the rock when need be, he chooses not to though he is an unselfish player.

if chalmers had a "decent" season then rose had a "slightly more decent" season according to your logic. check the stats yourself, ya boy didn't do anything much more spectacular then mario did. show me another 2nd round pick that put up the kind of numbers he did in his rookie season and i'll shut up but when you say he put up "decent" numbers for a low round pick when the 1st OVERALL pick put up SLIGHTLY better stats then him it makes your "decent" argument look stupid man....seriously.

for being drafted a whole round after ya boy, chalmers sure did show everyone in the league he also should have been a top 10 pick thats for damn sure.

Top 5 in the league in steals as a ROOKIE! something the #1 pick can't say now can he?

imma let you keep thinking Chalmers is just a "decent" player, being a 2nd round pick and doing what hes doing right now...is a hell of alot better then "decent" man.
