I couldn't agree more. I've been wanting to say this, but I really wasn't trying to sound like I was disrespecting Mac Dre and his team. I mean yea them niggas was mobbin for robbing like 30 banks, but they are not on the level of everybody else on that show. I happy Dre getting love from BET, but American Gangster? I don't know about all that.

If BET wants to feature some more Bay niggas on American Gangster like they did Felix Mitchell, come back to the Town....
let me get this straight.....robbing is a positive thing?!?! I thought they highlighted gangstas on the show to demonstrate what fucked up assholes they were.....not to praise them for killing, stealing, and fucking people over

lol you don't think any of them have as much a story as mac dre?

hmmm lets see tupac...

born in ny, moves to the bay area, raised by single mother who's affiliated with black panthers, gets shot 5 times in ny, acuses former friend biggie smalls (also arguably the best rapper of all time) of setting him up for the shooting, goes to prison on rape charges, gets out of prison, moves to LA and gets signed to death row records (perhaps the most controversial record label of all time) becomes the biggest rap star in america and arguably the best rapper of all time , protested by deloris tucker and others for explicit lyrical content, sells millions of records, starts legendary eastcoast/westcoast beef which eventually gets him killed, claims to have slept with biggie's wife, conflicts on death row records, gets killed, unsolved murder to this day, biggie gets killed as result of pac's death.

yea, you're right. not nearly as much of a story as mac dre. :)

Alot rappers out there have storys to tell....50 Cent, C-Bo, Lil CS, Gangsta Ern, Eazy-E, Fat Tone, Mitchy Slick, Redd Eyez and alot of others....Pac had more of a rap story then a street story to tell....He was not as deep the streets as the people i named above and his street cred is highly overratted.

a story is a story, it doesn't need a 'street cred' to be good. :)

but i agree, pac was a good actor, he got caught up 'living' the role he was playing though.

I would love to see a Mac Dre movie!! But nobody's story is as profound to me as Tupacs and Eazy E becuase they both had accomplishments that transcends music and street shit.
