Magazines are reporting that Jay Z is launching a new Roc-A-Fella West records in 2006. He is reported to have 2 artists signed, one of which is Immense, who's the protege of Kurupt from the Dogg Pound and the other a rapper from Oakland. It seems that 2006 may definitely be the year of the West Coast. E-40 is coming out on Lil'J on's label. Lil' Eazy E and Guerilla Black albums will drop on Virgin Records. Dr. Dre is scheduled to drop. The Game is scheduled to drop on Aftermath. 40 Glocc and Spider Loc are scheduled to drop on G Unit. Ice Cube will drop on Priority. Yukmouth will drop on Rap-A-Lot. Daz will drop on So So Def and the Dogg Pound will drop on either Capitol or MCA. It's good to see that the West Coast is back with the Major Labels. I've also heard that Death Row is going major once again and that Suge has signed a deal with Time Warner! The West Is Back!

YUP YUP, and to add on that I've noticed that Bay Rapperz are getting alittle recognition in BET and Federation not to long ago on MTV, but if the industry will stop hating on The Bay, then I bet you hella foos would be going hyphy by now, I didn't know Daz was on SO SO DEF but fuck the Ying Yang Twins for biting the bay, hella rappers out there getting ideas from the Bay, and all you haterz and biterz fucc you.

Yeah, The West has gotta have the record labels already here blow up with the artists, not eastcoast and south labels with westcoast rappers on them, I see this as a "Lets juice the west for what they're worth and leave em alone for 10 years again".

^^^Yup. Cant blame em though. They see a void in the marketplace, they just wanna get what they can out of it. Death Row was gonna do the same shit for the East many moons ago.

I thought roc-a-fella folded?....or did it?.....
Nah Def Jam bought it out, Jay Z became president of Def Jam, he's still also the CEO of Roc-a-Fella, and Dame Dash bounced out and started his own label called the Dame Dash Music Group which has Beanie Siegel signed to it.

What's funny is Dame Dash signed with Def Jam for distro, so basically Jay Z is Dame Dash's boss in a way now.
