ROBERT LEE GRATTON II FEB 25, 1964 - JULY 18, 2008 Robert was born in Okla. City. A resident of Modesto since 1965 and of Los Angeles the past five years. Robert was a roofer by trade. He is survived by wife, Fernanda Gratton of Modesto; children, Saundra Perez of Manteca; Primo Gratton, Robert Gratton III, Michael Gratton, Martina Gratton all of Modesto; Elizabeth Franco of Turlock; Jovani Gratton, Bianca Gratton and Briana Gratton of Los Angeles; mother, Saundra Gratton of Modesto; brothers, Robby Gratton of La Grange, Rodney Gratton of Modesto; many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Gratton I. Graveside Service: July 28, 2PM at Lakewood Memorial Park. Officiating: Captain Roy Wild. IDK WHY..? HIS FAMILY STILL LIVES IN MODESTO AS YOU READ THA ARTICLE. AND IT IS HIM I HAVE THAT BOOK HER WROTE AND HAS THE EXACT SAM BIRTHDAY AS THE OBITUARIES SAYS AND HAS HIS MOMS NAME AS WELL.

Family members are the ones who write and submit obituaries to newspapers, normally with assistance from the funeral home that will be doing the funeral. So, if his family lives in Modesto they (or a funeral home) may have submitted the obituary to the Modesto Bee. That's why it would be in the Modesto paper. If you read obituaries you'll sometimes see people who no longer live anywhere near that particular newspaper's area, but their families still live there or they (the deceased) may be transported back to that area to be buried there. Obituaries are made to inform the public of a person's death so that if the family doesn't get around to telling you and you happen to know the person you can find out from the paper and pay your respects.

But like someone else already said, it could be fake because he is in protective custody. Somehow I don't believe that is the case, but it is possible.

Either way, fuck the snitch.

NORTENO DROPOUT KILLED IN TC.
Robert "Huero" Gratton, the Norteno dropout at the center of a massive Federal RICO case against the NF was killed in a traffic collision on July 18, 2008. Diligent students of the subject will remember that the 44-year-old Gratton, a long time NF member, dropped out, flipped and testified against a legion of NF members and associates in what came to be known as Operation Black Widow.

Although he claimed to be a high ranking member, a number of law enforcement officials close to the subject believe that he pumped up his status and hadn't climb all that high up the corporate ladder. Nevertheless, he did provide sufficient valid information to send a lot of his former associates to Federal prison.

According to the scant information, Gratton was living in Palmdale. At 1:15 AM he was apparently backing up on the 14 Freeway near Aqua Dulce Canyon when he was struck from the rear by Rafael Hernandez. Hernandez only received minor injuries but Gratton was killed instantly. The CHP suspects that both drivers might have been under the influence. If we find out more, we'll let you know.

this shits fake cause hes on witness protection program and even if he died they wouldnt put that up in public....plus they wouldnt use his real name....witness protection changes your name and last name and everything about you so no one can find you....this article is the biggest trash ever.lol.

naw as soon as u die they do release ur name cuz therez waz diz 1 cat in da city who got killed a couple of monthz back N he waz in da witness protection program N they released all his info
