McDonald's founders' (Dick and Mac McDonald) first venture into the food business was in 1937, when they opened a hot dog stand in Arcadia, California. They opened the first McDonald's restaurant on May 15, 1940, in San Bernardino, California.

wooOO!!!...2 of the best and biggest hamburger franchises started in southern california.......should i make like westbaygiant,start a new thread and ask why the rest of the country isnt contributing to the fast food industry?
