People like Steve Irvin who "fuck with snakes", are the same people who help learn the behavior of these snakes, collect their venom, pass it on to researchers, who then study it and create anti venom, which saves THOUSANDS OF LIVES all around the world.
People like Steve Irvin who "fuck with animals" educate young kids and adults about wild life and inspire them to help preserve it and save thousands of endangered species...
People like Steve Irvin who "fuck with animals" are the people that made it possible for you to know that if you see a "STINGRAY SWIMMING, YOU'LL GO HOME AND EAT A CHEESE SANDWICH AND PLAY NINTENDO" because they took the risk to swim with this stingray, study its behavior, and discover that it can indeed sting if it feels threatened. If it wasn't for people that risk their lives for this type of research, WE WOULDN'T KNOW which "KILLER ANIMAL" to look out for, and why that KILLER ANIMAL is so dangerious.
Sometimes a killer animal could be a tiny frog who happens to carry enough poison to kill 5 human beings if you accidently touch it... and you would't know not to fuck with this "killer animal" if it wasn't for people like Steve Irvin.
And I'm sure you thought about the thousands of people who would die not knowing they died from eating some animal that was poison or doing something to threaten a dangerious animal not knowing the behavior of that animal or how it would react, if it wasn't for people like Steve Irvin who "fuck with animals".
But I forgot, you'd rather "live like a cave man with a bunch of unknown creatures and be able to drag your bitch by her hair and not get locked up for it."

i think a fire fighters line of work is a little more honorable and a little more important than hanging your baby over a crocodile and fucking with venemous things that can randomly kill you just for the sake of high ratings.

we get he was a serious wildlife guy..he loved animals. hes helped animals. hes made sections of countries better, hes continues on the cycle of mating for animals that were becoming extinct..
but the point is, he was getting too close....and he did that for the camera..and IMO its not worth risking your life, wheras bieng a fire fighter might be worth risking it for.
i could see if he wasnt filming, you know..but you know they were trying to get action shots and all that...thats what you gotta do..

man its useless to convince someone who aint open-minded or open to other views. Freaks got his own opinion, and he prolly feels strongly about it. Fuck it, I agree with you on what you said. I also understand what DJ freaks and Gas Uno are trying to say. Its just sad that they cant see certain situations in a different perspectives, because I believe one of the most important factors in growing as a human being and becoming a better person is being able to step in other people's shoes and get in other's perspectives. It has really helped me to grow, and Im sure as has helped others too. The truth is, some people are too stuck and stubborn in their own views; and thats fine. Cause it dont really matter to me, it doesnt affect me if others dont agree or disagree, its their loss that they cant see it that way. I've found it better to just state your perspective, opinion, and just let others chew on that...Sometimes they'll understand, sometimes they wont. But even if they dont understand its still all gravy, hey its their life, if someone wants to live like a caveman, so be it, shit aint my life thats for fuckin sure
Hey Shit-For-Brains you do realize if every firefighter was a little bitch like you are, we wouldn't have any and way more people would be dying in fires and other accidents. Almost every job has some kind of risk and people know that going in but they do their job to support their family and contribute to soceity. You on the other hand probably live in your mom's basement. right..it might have came about wrong...man, i had to explain to my 4 year old cousin why he died, in 4-year-old talk. she thought sting rays were cool but dosent like them now. what i told her is that the stingray was scared of him...and it was just trying to protect itself.. and thats a pretty good assessment. and now she knows that animals will attack to protect themselves and their children, much like us humans will do.
sad someone had to die for that lesson to be learned.
i might be looking at things from the stingrays perspective more than im looking at it from steve irwins perspective.
that said, i seperate steve irwins life, as a wildlife preservist, from his JOB on animal planet (shows do things for ratings such as, getting uncomfortably close to venemous animals..wildlife preservist do things for the animals, without the face-off generally). like dave chappele, sure hes funny in real life and passionate about comedy in the real world, but chappele show was his job.
and at one point chappele decided his job was interfering with his life.
but that dosent mean he quit comedy. you know what i mean?

Lot's of people go around test-eating animals. Human beings eat all sort of animals. Cows, pigs, fish, snails, frogs, chicken, lobsters, etc.
Those of us that live in big cities can go to a super market and buy them, but there are still many cultures that live in tribes and hunt for food and must kno what is edible and what is not.
Anyway, we're getting way off subject with this thread. You got your opinion, and I respect that. I understand the point you are trying to make about Steve having a job that required him to provoke animal attacks and how unsafe that is. However don't come to a thread meant to pay respects to man who died for a great cause and crack jokes and make comments saying that he deserved to die. It's just disrespectful bro, can we at least agree on that?

also, i don't know if anyones said this, but stingray related deaths are EXTREMELY rare...i think they said on tha news that tha last 2 stingray deaths in aus before his were in 1980-somethin & 1950-somethin...so the act of him swimming with 1 wasn't all that dangerous. it was just really bad luck, the ray got startled & irwin got hit in exactly the wrong spot.

it looks like the footage won't have to "leak" out...i just heard it will be broadcast in some way (at least in australia). apparently steve said he wanted his death caught on tape, if it were to ever come to that...& his family said that in keeping with with his wishes, it will be shown.
