VACAVILLE, CA - A man and a woman died Saturday in a motorcycle accident in Vacaville.

In a news release, John Carli with the Vacaville Police Department said the accident happened Saturday night just after 6:30 p.m. Vacaville police originally received a call saying a motorcycle was speeding on Christine Blvd. When they arrived, police found a wrecked motorcycle on the 700 block of Christine Blvd with two riders on the ground as well.

Police then determined that the man, who was driving the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and rear-ended an SUV after he lost control going around a curve. Vacaville EMS then arrived and performed CPR, but could not revive either the man or woman. Their identities have not been released. Police say they are still investigating the accident.
