San Jose man identified as victim in single-vehicle crash on northbound 680

The man who was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 680 just before Capitol Expressway has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office as Leap Ouch, 48, of San Jose.
Ouch was driving in a 2005 Toyota Camry around 4:30 a.m. when he drifted into the concrete center divide just south of Capitol Expressway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Ouch, who was traveling between 65 and 70 mph, had no visible injuries when emergency personnel arrived, according to the CHP. The Camry suffered moderate damage in the collision, according to the CHP, suggesting that Ouch perhaps suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision. CHP investigators are waiting for the medical examiner's office to release an autopsy report to determine the cause of death, according to officer Steve Griefer
