blaze is definitely a badass name for a kid. i've always had a lot of respect for ricky. he may be in my top 5 favorite athletes of all time (tony gwynn as #1 of course). thought this doc did a good job of clearing up his horrible media portrayal

i saw it last night, it was a good documentary.

he took a beating from all those hits he took at the University of Texas and he would of ended up like Earl Campbell if he didn't quit football.

was just talking to a teacher at the high school ricky went to today and she was saying how ricky came back to the school to talk to his old teacher who was kind of a mentor to him before going pro. he was already debating going pro and when his old teacher suggested he not go pro and keep going to school ricky said his mom would not allow that. apparently she had a very strong hold on his decisions when he was younger. including the whole hiring master p as his agent move, apparently that was all momma.
