yep this album is pretty nice.....

pros:

-tears of joy is my 2nd favorite joint....it almost sounds like a super funky interlude...
-the tracklist order plays well
-maybach music 3 is the second best one after the original
-aston martic music, highlight of the album
-the kanye west collab is crazy
guest appearances are top notch...and if u listen closely, I think Ross wrote T.I.s verse, maybe Jada's too, and definitely Diddys verse...

cons:
-diddy guest appearance
-I'm Not A Star was a weak track to open the album with, kinda boring..
-seriously, why the fuck isnt the extended aston martin music on here
-woulda like to see sweet life feat john legend as well

overall, this album is better than his last effort by quite a bit. I would rate Deeper than Rap a 7/10 (and thats only because of about 4 flawless tracks, rest was average), this album is a solid 8.5/10. I'm seeing a lot of people overhyping the hell outta this album on other forums, but its really nothing groundbreaking; it's a Rick Ross album. It serves what we have come to expect from Ross after 5 years...nice beat selection, dope flow, and top notch guest appearances...I would say its his best album yet.

you think Ross wrote TI and Jada's verse???

I gotta go back and listen, but I can't see that... TI and Jada are way dope than Rick Ross lyrically... dunno why they'd have him write their verses

and yeah, this is better than Deeper Than Rap for sure... I still probably think Trilla is his best album to date, IMO

most people dont know ross has done a lot of ghostwriting throughout his career....nowhere near as much as jay-z, but quite a bit...

and yea, that TI verse has Ross' rhyme scheme all over it, not sure about jada's though

.

I dont agree with that due to the fact T.I. and Jada are ghostwriters. They probaly write ross' lyrics if anything. I dont think they wrote no music for each other that they all just collabed in the studio together in person(since most work is done via email or postal services these days) and did the song.

206 and lil mac, fall back. This thread is for discussion of the new rick ross Teflon Don album!

If you two wanna bash me in a thread, go to the one darkshowdown started in the open forum a few months ago....I wasn't co-signing rick ross, rather the music he makes.....

yea, most likely right....Like someone else stated before I think TI emulated Ross' style if anything to match the beat....
