Rick Roc From alabama??

Was reading XXL, the making of all eyes on me (2pac) and on the credits there saying
Rick Roc alabama producer? This dud I work with said he usde to be in a band and grew up down the street from rick out in fairfield.

now, heres what i dont get..in the cosmic slop shop album insert, doonie baby doesnt even mention alabama, but actually says "the 601-mississippi for my birthplace" then give props to "Texas, Tenessee, Cali and Missouri for the Extra game i've learned."


as for Rick Rock, i still dont know.
