This came up a while ago and it's just stupid, but what would you call this? What are good reasons to tell the kids not to wear em? Is it right to tell em what to wear? How do you relate this to a more serious topic?

And what do you think about people changing how they talk? Is that being fake? What is being fake?

i hate it when people wear girbauds and aint selling drugs especially the white boys, such a shame, if u aint holdin then dont wear girbauds, theyre only for ghetto people who sell drugs, seriously, what u think they have all the pockets for?


... oh and tell kids not to wear em cuz then theyre gonna get harrased for drugs

Kids at a young age don't know what is right or wrong to wear, they just wear it simply out of fashion. Schools tell the kids "because it's gang affiliated" but what aspect of it makes it gang attire? They don't explain that much to them other than it's wrong and that they should follow the rules.

And if parents and faculty can't explain that much to them, then kids are going to embrace it because it's going against the norm/what's right.

What's wrong with girbauds though? Other than them being to big for their bridges? If this is a baggy jean issue then tell them lil wayne isn't cool jk

there was a time when your average square kid from the burbs didn't know what the fuck girbauds were, those times are gone haha. To me a kid sporting gear like that is like a square trying to rock Ben Davis back in the 90s cuz they saw Snoop and Dre on TV wearing that shit. personally i can give 2 shits what a junior high kid thinks is cool. My lil brother is that age and he just wants to rock whatever clothes i'm rockin most of his shit is hand me downs from me cuz that mutherfucker is hella big for a 12 year old, I dont have any girbaud jeans so he aint gonna get em from me and i know my mom isnt gonna buy that fool no 60+ dollar jeans. He might get lucky and i'll give him one of my girbaud shirts that i hardly wear. I live in PHX now, bay fashion is like light years ahead of how these cats dress. I swear i saw a fool rockin one of those old school starter parkas when i first moved out here lol. I was like wow you get that shit on ebay or somethin

It's hard to put it in words. That's one of the reasons i posted this up here. Is it wrong for em to wear jordans and girbauds? At what point do you become fake?
