oh the heat from Pittsburg, if you sleepin wake up! these cats are outta the Burg, im not sure each of their names but there is two of them, they both spit flames all over this shit! not to mention it has top notch beats from Rob Lo on every song but one! This album on Supernatural Records (the Ghetto Starz label) showcases their talent, while at the same time gettin down wit all the 'Starz and other fools like Nutt Bridle, Smash Unit, etc.
1. Headshots
Produced By: Rob Lo
-some new Rob Lo beats to soak, fuck yea. this shit starts out wit in my opinion the best track on the album. The beat has some strings and piano and it is pretty slow and chill. They are spittin about death of the homies and just the streets in general. The first fool is the Indian that you will hear more of on this shit, i dont know why. He has a tight voice, sorta scratchy and high pitched. The chorus on this track reminds me of A-Wax's shit "now you can catch a headshot [a headshot]/ or you can get a chest shot [a chestshot]/ either way it goes, you get popped/ his soul died his body froze and then he dropped/ left his momma cryin to lord, when will it stop? but nobody really knows, and that shit never do stop" all the spits are on point, tight hook, dope beat. HEATER
9.5/10
2. Frustrations ft. AP-9, Harper Boy, Dubb 20
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this is the only recycled track on the album, it was on Camp Mob Figaz and i think Scoob Nitty and Kreep present Double Jeapordy too. I'm not feelin the beat too much, its one of those like up-beat, but slower beats. It has some bells or somethin in it. First verse is Harper Boy, he is kinda coo, sounds like the guy from Pueblo Indians, wit the higher voice, then Dubb 20 spits a dope ass verse. One of Dubb 20's sickest verses ever in my opinion. Then the dude from the Pueblo Indians spits a alrite verse, then the other Pueblo Indian, wit a deeper voice spits a tight ass verse. AP-9 finishes this shit off wit a coo verse too "after all the shit i been thru (game?) sharper than a ginsu, everybody like, look, the devil aint in you"
8.0/10 woulda been higher wit a tighter beat
3. Rest In Memory feat. Smash Unit
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this is a dope track by Rob Lo. beat has a gangster feel to it, its mid paced with some cool instruments. First verse is about the dope game, has nothin to do wit restin in memory. Then one of the Smash Unit fools spits a cool verse. "my life is not a movie script, far from imaginary, listened in school to expand my street vocabulary." coo track.
7.5/10
4. Mac Mannerism feat. Dubb 20, Nutt Bridle
Produced By: Rob Lo
-dope beat! starts out wit a distorted like, bubble noise, then these strings kick in and the shit is tight as fuck. Slower beat, it doesnt really fit into what they are spittin but either way shit is coo. First verse is the high pitch dude from the Indians. The chorus on this is Dubb 20, but its not that tight. Dubb spits a tight ass verse after that. You better like Dubb 20, cuz he is on like half of these songs. "P-I-M-P, my game is outta orbit like astrology" Nutt Bridle spits a verse that starts tight, then gets bunk, then gets tight again. bangin track.
8.5/10
5. Hard Headed Fuck ft. UZI, Rob Lo
Produced By: Rob Lo
-Another sick beat.. has some spanish guitar in the beggining, and then the beat hits and its got some weird instruments but its bangin. First verse is the deeper fool from the Indians, and he spits some coo shit. the chorus is tight, both the Indians go back and forth on some lines. UZI spits a coo verse, not his best tho. Then Rob Lo spits a verse and he shits on every1!! damn, dude got skills. "hard head fucks, rush them indians wit guns/ illegal funds, beams on guns, yall niggas will run" another heater
8.5/10
6. Scriptures
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this isnt Rob Lo's tightest beat, but its still a coo track. The high pitched fool spits 2 verses in a row and they are both tight. "i was raised without a father, so i struggled a little harder"
7.0/10
7. U Better Realize ft. Dubb 20, Nutt Bridle
Produced By: Rob Lo
-lovin this beat man. shit has like a whistle type thing you would hear from some indians or somethin i dont know. Dubb 20 spits the first verse and its another tight verse. The chorus is tight too "yuo better realize who you fuckin wit, you bitch niggas know you cant fuck with this, high speed, livin to the max freely, and the only reason you hate is cuz you wanna be me." After the high pitched foo from the Indians, Nutt Bridle spits a tight ass verse. Bangin track. only thing im not feelin is at the end there's some fool crying sayin like 'im a bitch ass nigga' and shit.. it soudns kidna stupid.
8.5/10
8. Where Do We Go From Here? ft. Dubb 20, Freako
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this shit has those asian strings or whatever that was on tha Jacka's shit song 18. dope ass beat! probably one of the best ones on the CD. the first verse is the guy from the Pueblo Indians wit the higher voice. "i took a turn for the worse i was cursed since birth/ and you couldn't get me in a church until my nigga was murked" i think its his tightest verse on the whole album. Freako spits the chorus, and its a dope chorus. Dubb 20 spits next and hes tight as fuck as usual. Freako spits a verse thats dope too.. i really think Freako is on another level wit these lyrics man!! bangin track one of my fav's on the CD.
9.5/10
9. El Pueblo Projects
Produced By: Baby Bubb
-im noit really feelin this beat too much. its slower, laid back.. the verses are cool.. its just reppin the projects they are from and shit. its a tight track but not the dopest.
7.0/10
10. Ghetto Child Born ft. Dubb 20, Freako, UZI
Produced By: Rob Lo
-kinda funky beat, but im definatly diggin it. Dubb 20 spits first and its sick again. Freako is next, and he spits sick as fuck again. I hella like the chorus when Freako spits half of it its like 'drive by's wit the top down, i never smile, i never cry, i never sleep when young niggas die.'......both the Indians spit after that and they are tight.. UZI spits after that and he's tight as fuck. "i'm mafia, ya see Uzi is what they call me in the Jamaican movie"
9.0/10
11. Sit and Drink Remy ft. Dubb 20, Freako
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this is a hella chill beat by rob lo, wit different stings and bells, im feelin it fa sho. all the spits are on target on this shit.. im feelin Dubb's shit.. "niggas always talkin til the steel touch they gold grill" chorus is kinda bunk. Indians both spit tight on this shit, especially the one wit the deeper voice. Freako shits on all of them on this shit tho.. "we walk the block like starz so theres the paparazzi/ quick to locc up like Nazi's dare someone to try to stop me/ its evident, you need a bulletproof window like the president/ when my wetter kick"
8.5/10
12. No Moms, No Pops
Produced By: Rob Lo
-Another chill ass one by Rob Lo, in fact this is one of the tightest beat on the album. Hella kick back, wit that whistle sound in it.. they spit about not havin parents in this shit and the lyrics are on point. "why does it have to be so tough for me? misery loves company.. look at what it done to me.."
9.0/10
13. Supernatural Factors ft. Dubb 20
Produced By: Rob Lo
-bangin beat! it has an old school snare, wit coo strings like #16 off A-Wax's 65 G'z album. Dubb spits first and of course its tight. I tihnk smash unit is on this too.. im not sure.. but the next two fools sound like em and they spit coo. tight track.. the chorus is kinda weak.
8.0/10
14. Man 2 Man
Produced By: Rob Lo
-another heater man. has that riding feel to it.. likin the beat. "i empty a whole magazine, til the victim dont breathe, please believe, my names known but my face is unseen." the indians spit tight again on this shit. Chorus is tight too. "man 2 man, who will survive, when we collide" the deeper fool spits some dope shit. "if you was raised like me, wit ways like me? you could understand how i get down, terrorize my own hood and my small town"
8.5/10
15. Call it What You Want ft. Scoob Nitty, Dubb 20
Produced By: Rob Lo
-this beat is sorta weird, but its pretty tight. Scoob Nitty spits the chorus first. The Indians spit next and they are both cool. Nitty spits next and he's dope on this shit. this shit is cool, the beat could be tighter tho. Dubb 20 spits another verse and he's tight again on this shit. "im a boss, started off on the front lines, hittin gates, runnin from one time"
8.0/10
alrite, to break it down, this album is dope for real. i think if there wasnt as many features, tho, it wouldnt be as tight. cuz i honestly think the main reason the shit is tight is cuz the 'Starz spit some sick shit all over it. not to downplay the Pueblo Indians tho, they spit some cool shit of their own.. but they just aren't lyrically at the level of the people on their label. still, they got a bangin tape out wit this one.. go pick tihs shit up!
