For those of you that werent around then..... Myself and the guy by the name of techn9nehq on here had a fansite dedicated to Tech. I Think it opened in 2001 closed in 03 maybe 04? Im bad with dates....

Anyway..I get alot of emails regarding the reopening of this site. But neither Nick nor I have time to run it. I would be willing to help with a design if there are plenty of other people to do the legwork. It was alot of work compiling everything from scratch, at least now, there is alot of info out there to use.

If you have any html skills...writing skills or anything else that could help feel free to email me [email protected] or send me a PM

I am not saying we are reopening but if the response is strong enough....and there are enough dedicated individuals to help...you may see the most comprehensive tech site back in operation.

I too know a bit of HTML... and of course would dedicate my time to a continued pursuit of a complete discography and the album covers are yours for the taking as well....

if it gets back up.... it needs the tech exclusive tracks like back in the day... otherwise who cares
now, that is the best point I've heard so far.....

all I can say is: KAIN , HOLLOW , and myself would be willing to do whatever it takes...... if I missed anyone, I'm sorry.... I think our efforts in the DISCOGRAPHY / IPOD thread should be recognized....

my thoughts, anyways.....

I'd love to see the site rise from the asses, sadly I came around to it in it's last leg of life and thus I missed out on a lot of it's greatness. I know a few things here and there about HTML, alot of it picked up from tutorials a few years back, definitely not enough for me to build a site from scratch and it look anything decent... but I understand the basics. I'd also be willing to pitch in any help that I could, whatever it may be.

It was a real nice site and I used to go there often (only started checking here because the HQ closed) but still I voted "Maybe..depends on how it is done" as who needs another artist fan site thats rarely gonna be updated and then grinds to a halt?

Good idea though.

I would also like to add, that not only would we need people to add content to the site, we need people who can go to shows/events in and outside of Kansas City to get pictures, interviews, etc.

Also if the new site were to take the same direction as the last, there would be a lot of other artists who are affiliated with Strange Music that need coverage (PDM, Critical Bill). So we need people who can stay on top of that as much as possible.

The hurdles right now to get things rolling is design and new content.

Glad to see the love is still out there though.

I've been working on my own site, and even though it's not yet complete, check it out at www.techn9necollector.com. I've incorporated a lot of data from this board (and other sites) into this site, and I think this is along the lines of what you're looking to put together. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

last year i woulda said cool.

but this year i gotta say....nah.

who knows how much longer tech will REALLY be around....

I think you make a site...similiar to T9HQ.com...but not soley purposed to be around Tech N9ne and Strange Music.

just my 2 cents...
either way...i know you both will make it pop..
