I love it - someone who believes in God tearing a hole in the established dogma by using some simple logic. How? Being catholic, you are a pantheist (believe in the concept of God being part of everything around you, both animate or inanimate) and thus don't see the point of going to church, which was established by people who use religion as a means of gaining money and power. If you want to believe in God, go to the source and not it's 'earthly' messengers.

First I gotta give you props for seeking your own meaning, purpose and "religion," especially if it differs from the one into which you were born or raised.
Let me add a little bit of my views on established religion, using Christianity as an example because I'm most familiar with it. I am a Christian, albeit not a very traditional one, who is getting married to a Muslim woman very soon. Neither of us would ever ask or expect the other to convert our religion for any reason other than our own personal desire to do so. I think it is tragic that Christianity, and many other religions, claim to be the "only" true religion. Several religions teach damn near the EXACT same thing.
From the religion's standpoint though, it makes sense. If the religion is trying to gain as many followers as it can, of course it's going to say it's the only correct one. If it didn't, that would be like turning on the tv and seeing a Toyota commercial that said, "Our cars are good, but Honda makes great cars too." What's important to me is not what church (or temple, or mosque, etc) you go to, but how you live your life, and what your priorities are. There are hypocrites in every religion who are selfish, malicious, deceitful, and NOT repentant, but they think that as long as they call themselves a[insert religion here], their souls are guaranteed to prosper.
I think there is too much politics, BS, and discord in organized religion. I mean, Christians kill Christians over minute differences in religious practice. That kinda shit will make a religion lose credibility in my eyes. I don't like going to church at all, I think my relationship with God can develop better on a personal level, but of course it's always good to ask for guidance or advice from people you respect.
Okay to sum up this rambling, God didn't create religion, man did, and that's why it's so flawed. I guess some would argue that man even created God, altough I'm inclined to believe the opposite. Such is the context for the Cosmic History Chronicles, the product of the central project of the research and Development Division of the Foundation for the Law of Time. 7. Preparation for Publication - Presentation. In some ways this phase calls upon a synthesis of all the other areas of the transformational activity. Selection and creation of graphic material is a further aspect of the preparation for publication. The graphic material is both for the text and the cover. Once a publication format has been decided upon, then there is form of presentation to the public. The Cosmic History Chronicles are not only a unique set of texts representing the application of the Law of Time to the reformulation of human knowledge, but they are the byproduct of an equally unique interactive human experiment in transmission and interpersonal transformation - the core project of the Foundation for the Law of Time Research and Development Program. This final aspect represents a heightened form of jnana and karma yoga.
Total Discipline is the keynote to the program - but discipline with the end of effecting a total transformation. As the information loop of the biosphere-noosphere transition, the key intelligence of the cybersphere is the Law of Time; the feedback is the biospheric disruption due to the programming of the artificial timing frequency; and the action is the pragmatic and noospherically normative application of the 13-Moon 28-day calendar
4. Ethnosphere (planetary human). The ethnosphere represents the human biomass resulting from the cultural uprooting necessitated by the technosphere and the establishment of a more or less uniform global culture wedded by common electronic means of communication. The planetary human is the name given to ethnospheric humanity as a result of viewing Earth from space, 1969, which perception hence endowed the ethnosphere with the capacity of becoming a self-reflective, conscious planetary organism - prerequisite for the noosphere.
5. Noosphere. The noosphere is the self-reflective planetary intelligence of the ethnosphere established in a normative, unifying time template resulting in the correct symbiosis of the planetary human and cosmic nature. As an actual mental field, the noosphere is that condition of universal telepathy resulting from synchronization in the correct timing frequency, which, as it increases, brings about a transcendence and/or transformation of technology as it is known today.
6. Teleosphere. The teleosphere is the sphere of the purpose and goals of human and cosmic evolution. The highest purpose is defined by beauty as both an aesthetic and ethical motivation of human noospheric intelligence. The teleosphere is furthered by conscious knowledge of the Law of Time, formulated as T(E) = Art, and by the concomitant establishment of a corresponding social organism known as the Planet Art Network, (PAN). The end result is to fashion the whole Earth through the activated noosphere into a planetary art spore
7. Cosmosphere. The progress of humanity lies in those developments, both active and contemplative, which assist life in realizing its destiny in the cosmosphere, or realm of universal history. (John Allen and Mark Nelson, Space Biospheres, p. 52). As the application of the self-reflective consequences of paying attention to our attention, and of surveying the panorama of cosmic reality through the self-absorptive lens of the Law of Time as a teleological and cosmic yardstick, cosmic history is the comprehensive description of the cosmosphere as the cumulatively culminating realm of evolving intelligence.
Such is the context for the Cosmic History Chronicles, the product of the central project of the research and Development Division of the Foundation for the Law of Time. The Chronicles will consist of seven volumes, one each to be produced between the years 2004-2011. Because the Law of Time represents a phenomenologically integrative science, in this project the investigators form the core part of an experiment. The experiment is to humanly recapitulate the cosmic continuum. Cosmic history is not dead but living knowledge.
Clearly such a project represents and requires an enormous degree of concentration, expansive space for thematic development and thought, and highly attuned intelligences to accomplish the task. In fact, the advent of Cosmic History represents the fruition of a bi-part radical enzyme that has been fashioned by evolution for precisely this moment in time to account for and simultaneously consciously traverse the entire sequence - biosphere, technosphere, cybersphere, ethnosphere, noosphere, teleosphere, and cosmosphere. The facilitating instrument of intelligence allowing this process to occur has been the all-unifying and all synthesizing Law of Time.
The convergence of the knowledge of the seven spheres is due to the precisely calibrated point in time known as the closing of the cycle, winter solstice, 2012. It is this factor that has caused the shaping of the bi-part radical enzyme to accomplish the mission of bringing forth the Cosmic History Chronicles in such a way as to synthesize the biosphere-cosmosphere continuum and to create a template for the reformulation of the human mind.
Downloading the Cosmic History Chronicles is actually an evolutionary event that describes in its process the mutational transition from one cycle to the next, the very crux of the dynamic by which cosmic history evolves itself. The bi-part enzyme is to be scientifically crafted to represent a homologue of this transition from old cycle to new cycle, and the principle of binary alternation - male to female - in which the male plays the summarizing role of the old cycle and the female the synthesizing role of the new cycle. To accomplish their task the two creative agents function as the pivotal nodes of a closed system experiment in which heightened individual autonomy enhances the quality of conscious relationship.
The experiment is a type of closed system because, in order to maximize the results, it is essentially closed to 12:60 conceptual and cultural constructs. The means of maintaining the system purity is through heightened forms of transformational discipline and purified intention. The basis of the transformational discipline is yoga, understood as the union or coordination of mind, body, and environment, wedded to the Law of Time. The purpose is to embody cosmic history and provide an evolutionary example of transmission and mutation. As such the two experimenters conduct their life program as a disciplined manifestation of the cosmic history interplay of binary elements and alternating processes. This program includes:
1. Foundation Practice: Asanas -Pranayama - Clear seeing Meditation - Mantra/Visualization - Mudra exercise. The Foundation Practice is based on the Ashtanga - eight-limbed - yoga of Patanjali. While referring to overall qualities of moral development and stages of contemplative process, it emphasizes the practice of asanas and pranayama, body and breath control. Raj yoga refers to the discipline and study of the body as a cosmic template or reflection of the universal processes. The yoga practices are embedded in and complemented by buddhist or zen-style meditation with the intent of clear seeing, developing a mind that rests on no thing whatsoever. Within the clear-seeing context occurs visualization of the chakras, the inner psychic body and certain seed syllables, which are chanted as mantra, further utilizing the over all psychosensory organism. Finally a coordinated cosmic consciousness visualization and synchronized mudra exercise, attunes the two psychosensory nodes to each other as mirror embodiments - transmitter and receiver. Done first thing in the day, the Foundation Practice is the basis of the human cosmomutational experiment.
2. Daily 13:20 Synchronic Order Life and Study Program - Practicing the Law of Time. The codes of time rooted in following the 13-Moon 28-day calendar includes the application of the 13:20 frequency through the Dreamspell, Telektonon and 7777 game boards, the 20 Tablets of the Law of Time, Rinri project, as well as the Dynamics of Time and Book of Changes. The purpose is to incorporate the codes of time as the orienting, informing and guiding principles of the daily reflexes of thought and action. The reflections on the synchronic order extend to the discipline of domestic order and spiritual tranquility. But the highest purpose is through the synchronic order contemplation to develop insight and techniques in applied noospherics - the expansion and extension of the mind through the cosmic filtering system of the psi bank. Of necessity this requires the expression and creation of new applications of the law of time for public education and enlightenment.
3. Foundation Thirteen Moon Public Service Program. Management of the Foundation for the Law of Time provides the public service element in the over-all program of discipline. The work of both experiments with the Foundation in their roles as President/ Chief Researcher and Executive Assistant/Research Assistant through Calendar Change, PAN coordination, diplomatic and strategic public outreach provide focused interaction with the 12:60 world. All activity is carried out as anthropological exercises in Cosmic History. The Foundation for the Law of Time is the perfect vehicle for a Cosmic History internship program since it deals specifically with implementing and integrating the 13:20 into the ethnosphere in the midst of the biosphere-noosphere transition. Cosmic history being understood as a cumulative registration of states of universal consciousness, the experiences provide many invaluable insights into the present unconscious state of cosmic history. This service activity also constitutes what is known as karma yoga.
4.Transmission: Tutorial/Research/Investigation - jnana yoga. The core of the Cosmic History Program is the process of transmission. While outwardly transmission may refer to the actual passing of knowledge and information, including techniques and methods of behavior and artistic expression, at another level the transmission refers to far more intangible values and qualities. Transmission is actually a living flow of mental and vital currents and energies intentionally passed from one agent to another with the expressed purpose of reestablishing in the receiving agent not only the knowledge but the very quality of mind and being of the transmitter. Understood in this sense, transmission is a form of inheritance. The transmitter is specially prepared by education and experience to take on with full consciousness the role of transmitting the data of cosmic history. By preparation and disposition, the receiver is also equally prepared for her role. Heightened awareness of the closing of the cycle - the Mayan calendar cycle end-date, Winter solstice 2012 - determines the period of transmission, or apprenticeship. Through a rigorous system of tutorials the raw knowledge of cosmic history is transmitted, thus providing a base for in-depth research and investigation of the key topics and themes defined by the Cosmic History Chronicles. This practice is known as jnana yoga, the discipline of mind through comprehension of a body of knowledge.
5. Transcription/Editing - Critical and Comparative Analysis. Once the fundamentals have been downloaded - so far some 260 tutorial sessions - the process of transcription of the raw material occurs. This requires particular discipline on the part of the receiving agent inputting into her computer some 500 hours of transmission. The value of this process for the receiving agent or apprentice is that she gets to hear the transmission again. Slowly the material becomes her own. In the process of transcribing the spoken word into the written word she must utilize her skill in making necessary syntactical and grammatical adjustments. With the transmitter she then must determine what content areas go into which of the seven volumes. Together they must exercise critical judgment and comparative analysis in the arduous job of sorting out the material according to the volumes. Then decisions must be made as to what may be lacking and what further tutorials must be given. All of the material must be finely edited so that what was once the spoken word is now a fluidly written text. The process of transcription and editing represents an ever more finely attuned exercise in jnana yoga.
6. Meditation Retreats - Creative Studies Program, Reflection and Expression. Such an intense and ambitious mental effort as is required by the Cosmic History Chronicles, necessitates insightful relaxation and creative exercise time for the mind. Specifically such concentrated effort requires on the one hand that the mind be turned off as it were, and on the other that opposite states of mind be cultivated to effect a well-rounded education and research program. While the transmitter already has a daily meditation practice, seven to thirteen day meditation retreats are also called for. The meditation practice involves zen-style technique and dzog chen approach. The zen technique is to just sit erect and motionless, eyes gazing down at the ground or floor before you, dissolving thoughts with the out breath. Dzogchen is the perception that at the root of mind is an all abiding timeless awareness. Through prolonged practice, realizing this all abiding awareness keeps the mind supple, fresh and free of fixation. Meditation programs are balanced by ongoing artistic practices - painting, collage, creative journal writing, and music-making - that help integrate the experience of the intense mental activity. These disciplines emphasize necessary alone time.
7. Preparation for Publication - Presentation. In some ways this phase calls upon a synthesis of all the other areas of the transformational activity. Here the final edited work must be considered for public presentation. This involves final stylistic decisions so that all of the volumes have a uniform quality. It also involves how the material is meant to look on the page so that content, form and manner of presentation are unified. Selection and creation of graphic material is a further aspect of the preparation for publication. The graphic material is both for the text and the cover. The seven volumes should manifest a singular unified appearance that speaks to what they are - the Cosmic History Chronicles. Once a publication format has been decided upon, then there is form of presentation to the public. The Cosmic History Chronicles are not only a unique set of texts representing the application of the Law of Time to the reformulation of human knowledge, but they are the byproduct of an equally unique interactive human experiment in transmission and interpersonal transformation - the core project of the Foundation for the Law of Time Research and Development Program. This final aspect represents a heightened form of jnana and karma yoga.
Total Discipline is the keynote to the program - but discipline with the end of effecting a total transformation. The actual experiment representing as it does the enactment of a human homologue to the transition between two cycles, is critical to the fulfillment of the Cosmic History Chronicles Research Program. For this reason the closed system of the program involves the creation of a 13:20 psychic membrane - this is a mental field created and maintained through the intense efforts of multileveled discipline. Through the experiment the two experiments are intended to become an evolutionary paradigm of cyclic change, and, as the presenters of the Cosmic History Chronicles, are to be regarded as the internal agents of transformation effected by the experiment. The external medium of demonstration is the publication of the seven volumes between 2004 and 2011.
Making conscious what was unconscious is the full intent of the Law of Time and of this experiment. Bringing the cosmic human out of the historical man, empowering the female as the agent of transmission, is to go beyond the loop of history. The intensity of the interactive requirements bonding transmitter and receiver in this project further necessitates the maintenance of the 13:20 psychic membrane. The purpose of the membrane is to act as a filter and protecting agent minimizing the actual input of 12:60 experiences.
While it is understood that it is not totally possible - nor even desirable - to eliminate 12:60 experiences, on the other hand it is necessary to maintain a Cosmic History lifestyle of mutual and autonomous cultivation within the discipline defined parameters of the over-all program. To a degree, this even means the minimizing of family relationships and ties with the outer world, keeping all external socializing and media input (entertainment) at the barest minimum. Computers, telephone/fax and a small CD player and tape recorder are the only electronic devices within the R & D facility. As might be gathered the process and lifestyle is a profoundly spiritual one, and actually the whole of it is dedicated to God understood as the Supreme Author, Architect and Creator of Cosmic History.
A word about the timing. The program began in 2002, to be completed in 2012, the Mayan closing of the cycle of history which began BC 3113. Production of the seven volumes, one each year between 2004 and 2011, corresponds to a prophetic cycle known as the Mystery of the Stone, which describes the perfection of the human soul and its resurrection in 13:20 time. The source of this prophetic cycle and its meaning is in the two tombs of Palenque, that of Pacal Votan (AD 692) and the other of the Red Queen (AD 735?). The virtually identical sarcophagi were outfitted with identical jade masks, signs of wisdom. The male tomb is inscribed and historical, the female tomb uninscribed and post-historical. Hence the two investigators are also charged with playing out two archetypal roles: the knowledge holder and the one on whom the knowledge is bestowed. In this psychomythic context Cosmic History is known as a Galactic Mayan mind transmission of coded information, simply identified as GM108X.
