JT used to make great music in the early and mid 90s, I'll always respect him for those albums, but from what I see he's all about the $$$ now and his posts don't create a positive image for him at all, there are still people who want artists to be artsts and not money makers
I don't know, maybe he was the same back in 95, there was no Siccness then, but his music definitely changed, and not for better...
I am very curious what he has to say about it - JT, what made you start releasing one bullshit release after another (I purposedly don't say "album", y'all know why) filled with recycles and cheap beats?

...hip hop is a micocosm, meaning it is of and very much effected by the world around us. i am a young ceo in the bay. i grew up on ya music and hustle. your groundwork is part of the blueprint i live by.....
that being said, i would love to see you take a more active role in todays bay area business landscape. i think by you being a factor in the real "golden age" of the bay can help take this movement to the next level. the one thing that i see holding us back is a lack of business management. i think you stepping up and guiding this movement would be big in helping not just the bay, but the west coast return to power...... i dont mean this in a disrespectful way at all, just wanna soak up game from a man who has actually been there.

regardless of recycling or anything like that, selling a beat cd for $100 is smart as fuck....its not really costing him shit to make the beats, especially since he's doing the shit on the daily. it could be hits, but it could be throwaway tracks....you'll never know till you spend that $100.....but thats smart, I may have to use that idea later on :devious:
