You're more proof of what happens when technology falls into the wrong hands. Yes, the thread title is about RROD, and if you knew anything you'd know the E74 error DOES show red when you start the console. However, there are several other red rings your 360 can flash, and since the title of this thread does NOT specify which red rings of death were solved, you would be doing yourself a favor by going back and reading exactly what I was quoting and saying true to as you're simply looking like a dummy now. Your console FAILED. End of story on that note.

In regards to your pathetic attempts at intelligence and stand-up comedy, I've heard of common sense, and I know it's something you're lacking. Concerning your point #2, you can barely type a basic sentence. With that being said, put the xbox controller down and pick up a book. Finally, no one cares if you know how to fix a rod or not, but since it's obvious you take rod's up the ass 24-7, I'd bet you really are telling the truth when you say you know how to "fix" them.

I'm hoping they put the new Jasper chip on my shit or give me a whole new xbox 360 with the chip.

If you get that Resident evil console you should be good, they are all supposed to have the new Jasper chip that prevents overheating.

i got an Elite last April, and it got the RROD in January. i just recently bought a used 360 and its already fucking up on me. keeps saying it cant play the dvd when madden is in there. im going to exchange it for a ps2 and madden 09. i'll just buy a brand new 360 at the end of this month. not an Elite tho, forget that. i aint payin that much for another RROD. i didnt even use any of those 100's of gb's.

Have you guys tried the x-clamp fix? My friend says it works and it's permanent. I haven't tried it but I got the e-book if anyone wants to try it. There's also something called the 12 cent fix which requires 12 pennies and a glue gun. Both are supposed to work pretty well.
