fuck saving up 700 salvage for that nano forge shit is hella annoying i had 400 and bought heat seeking rockets..i guess ill buy it next

ya theres a lot more walkers later in the game. big ones, little ones with jetpacks, ones that shoot missles, etc. and ya you get a jetpack later. not sure if you get other backpacks. and buy the nano forge. it is the best weapon in the game imo. i never leave the base without it. good all around weapon.

beat this shit 2 nights ago. last mission was a bitch until you figure out what to do. got 101/104 guerilla missions. i think while i was doing the house arrests that 3 people died in one of the missions so thats why those 3 failed. good game but not great.

I had to drop the difficulty down to easy pretty early in the game. its just more fun for me that way, and still challenging.

This is exactly what i did and i'am still havein a blast playin the single player.

Easy is like normal in this game.. Even on Easy i still find myself gettin killed, but not nearly as much as when i was playin on normal.. lol

what are you trying to do before you get surrounded

alot of times i dont even give a fuck about edf...i just destroy the building...if you do that before you die then then you still complete the mission...so its ok if i die a second or two after the building falls as long as that shit goes down

because technically edf can just keep coming and coming and shit, theres no real reason to face off with them its kinda like in GTA with the police

you should take a second to just destroy small edf spots on the map so when you roll through places, its not hella thick with edf

if the place is heavily guarded you cant like roll up into the target spot and just start romboing...i mean ive done it hella times but its not the smartest strategy if you havent destroyed all the outer bullshit

edit: technically the only real reason i can think of with battling the edf is to get ammo or get scraps, other than that i dont think it does anything to advance the game, i could be wrong. only in those 'kill 30 edf soldiers' missions.

sometimes when you destroy buildings you just gotta either find a car or bounce out a back way or youll get killed, the edf dont necessarily leave the spot when youre done. shit theyll come through if your fucking with tore down buildings, that i didnt know

but yeah fighting edf is a waste of time..alot of times i dont even shoot them anymore its the arc weilder or the sledge everything else is used to fuck up the building

im not purposely fighting the edf but i have to when im in a camp taking out buildings,i think i may be going at it in the wrong way,since theres no sniper you cant really take em out from a distance.but little stuff like ill be in a camp half way through taking everthing out,and i get kinda cornered against a mountain all it takes is for me a to get shot up a lil and have my health red and flashing,and if another edf from anywhere catches me,by the time i find out where hes firing from im doomed.
its wierd i dont know how to explain it but ever since the beginin iv been kinda lost with this game,like the weapon boxes,i didnt know what the fuck they did,id open one up and be like ok i cant take anything,didnt realize it jus reloads all your amo,or id be driving around like where the fuck am i supposed to be going,where am i not allowed.

i wont return it yet,actually im gonna jump on right now,ill give easy a try to see if that helps

or i might jus be seriously retarded towards this game,might jus be me but it doesnt seem to have much of an identity if that makes any sense,kinda throws you in the middle of it and like go figure it out,kinda like the intro to oblivion or fallout

just think about it or change up your plan. in the beginning a good strategy was for me to run along the outside walls of the building, putting bombs on them. you wait till you max out the number of bombs you can put up on the buildings walls, then detonate them. also you can change your weapon in the middle of this, so like if a edf soldier comes around a corner and youre putting up bombs, you change weapons and pop him, and go back to putting up bombs. basically, the quicker you get something done the less edf youll see. so dont sit around looking retarded, get it done and if you really feel like youre gonna die, bounce and come back

your energy comes back like after 10 seconds of not being shot

if you just put up bombs they dont hear you till that first blast usually...and youll have another go around before they really step through...

another strategy i used was to run up in the spot with a big truck (the truck can take more damage than you can) do as much damage to the shit as you can that way. then if need be hop out and finish the job off, or go get a new truck.

its not too hard, wait till youre where im at where these stupid bitches are zapping you with lazers

if you really feel like youre getting outgunned id say to just spend a small amount of time collecting salvage and update your guns early.

oh also if you kill 100 edf with the sledgehammer youll get a new one. the new hammers knock shit down alot quicker.

and one other strategy remember you can go inside buildings and blow it up from the inside, knock a hole in the wall and jump out and look for gas tankers on the side of buildings and shoot them

lol, what kinda pansy plays games on easy? i beat this shit on normal, you die some at first but once you get the hang of it and how to attack certain situations you do fine. I probably died 70% of the time in the first couple hours of the game.

lol at the guy in damage control on multiplayer the other day who got angry and started smashing everything with his hammer because i was hiding in my secret place on top of the mountain in deadzone and destroying his target with the nano rifle and he kept having to rebuild it and couldnt understand why it kept melting

hahah i get hella pissed off some people too.. i dont care where their hideing i'll come find 'em and beat them down with the sledgehammer, even if it takes me hella tries.. But yeah, my new thing now is going into a building, whippin out the rail gun, and jus railing foo's as their runnin up to the targets..

But yeah, you know what Damage Control sounds like fun right now.. I might hop on and give that a shot again.. I was in love with Damage Control until i started playin Siege.
