Me and my folks from Frisco are coming out to KC to record some material. Can y'all recommend any quality and affordable studios we could work at? I have heard of one studio called Chapman but they charge $70/hr, looking for something cheaper then that if its possible.

Chapman

Even though they might cost more during the day, they are more than worth it. Great staff, relaxing atmosphere, always muchies in the kitchen. The night rate makes it better as well, not really a bad neighborhood to be in at night (17th and Wy.). I've recorded at a couple studios in the area, but this one I recommend to anyone.

So Chapman has a $40/hr night rate then? Cause if thats the case I may have to go there, they definitely got the best studio in town. Thanks for all the info so far.

Chapman is definitely the best spot in town. I have a small studio at my home with full ProTools TDM and Focusrite Compressors. I do mixing, recording, and production. If you are interested PM me and we'll get in contact.
