Yep, I went to Berkeley schools all my life and they never honored Columbus; it was always Indigenous Peoples Day. And we were taught in detail about what a despicable person he was.

it's not a case of having weak immune systems, it's a matter of not being exposed to it. How can you applaud dirty europeans for wiping out one of the most advanced civilizations in the world with disease? Call it natural selection I guess but it's still weak

The oldest body found was in Africa. It's a big freakin planet. Don't be surprised if this stance isn't changed someday.

There aren't a ton of varieties of indigenous people. Native Americans all look pretty similar to each other which also happen to look similar to the indigenous people's of central and south america. The indigenous people of alaska and that northern region look more siberian. I've never heard someone say that polynesians were directly linked to the indigenous people's of the west coasts of north and central america. There was some mixing I'm sure way down the line but you're silly if you think polynesians had a major affect on them in the America's. The Spanish are really the ones that had the biggest impact, followed by the french in canada and Africans to follow.
