I mean........I feel like, fuck nationally, how about this one: First one to sell 100k without getting raped by a major label?:

I think that I have been doing a little bit more then posturing. Going for the jugular of a giant is a little harder then you may think. You don't decide when its time for you to blow up. There are circumstances and situations that prevent people just blowing up overnight. It has been quite a struggle already to accomplish the things that I have done to this point. Hopefully this year I can stop posturing and make something happen this year.

^^ True...most of what i listed are regional/100K plans. Once you can get up to 50K or 100K, the rest is on you and your ability to not get fucked over by a major.
Not TOTALLY in that way, friend. What i meant was, the Jus Fam catalog has been on almost a complete hold in the last year or so. No Northern Lights...No I Hate Cool Nutz...No Maniak...No Goon Sqwad. What we got was the tight, but recycled, "Collabos" album. Which is tight and all, and some of it is not your fault (Northern Lights).....but still. IMO, the amount of people that would buy Goon Sqwad because its "C-Bo Presents" could not have surpassed the number who would have bought it during your last 4, 5, 6 months of touring.

How so? Listen...I'm a master of rhetoric, and the "i'm trying my hardest", and the "these things take time", but this is not the thread. Lil Flip didn't get a deal handed to him, the man had about 15 mixtapes out there before he got signed, and did non-stop shows...for money...for free...it didn't matter. Same with Cash Money....Same with Master P....Same with G-Unit..same with 95% of artists who are making any kind of impact.
The MOMENT you sit down and say to yourself "i need national distro! that'd be neat!", you might as well cut your legs out right from under you with a hacksaw. Unless you're touring nationally, what is the POINT? 90% of these artists that claim to have national, I can go down to FYE or a local record store, and their shit IS NOT there. So who CARES if some mom and pop store in Philadelphia or Miami is carrying your shit, when 2 hours away from your own backyard, I cant even buy your cd?
And dont even get me started on people who pay for features from artists they'll probably never do a show with, when they can pick artists from their own city and go on TOURS with them.....
