I give it a 7.5/10. IMO Its a solid album but nothing that blew me away like I had hoped for. Maybe my expectation were too high. Jack does his thing lyrically and has some slaps on there but it just didn't wow me. I was waiting to hear a song on the album that was better than the leaked songs I had already heard and to me there weren't any. I would've also liked to hear that signature jacka sound a lil more too. All in all i'm happy to have and slap a new jacka album but would've liked a lil more out of the project.

Likes:
New music form one of my favorite artist

jacka comes wit it lyrically

production is solid and album is mixed well

Dislikes:
slightly above average beats. Although production was solid I didn't like some of the beat selection

It lacks that aww factor. Nothin really stood out as that always on repeat banger.

Some of the tracks that didn't make the album were better than the songs on the album and coulda added more diversity and better transitions.

Lack of uptempo songs. I think there coulda been a couple more tracks that get you out yo seat and on the dance floor.

It lacks a climax. The album seems to plateau through out the whole thing.

All over me is still the best track on the album.

2003 jacka and 2009 jacka are completely different people
Same guy different year :).

To be honest Jacka sounds more mature and refined on Jack Artist. Tear Gas sounds more like a wannabe mainstream album and he sounds out of his element for the most part. Its a good attempt but overall it just don't sound right to me. Right now i am only slapping just over half the songs and i doubt i'll be slapping as much by the time summer gets into full swing.

Still Jacka's one of my best artists so im gona support as its a album worth buying but i aint gona lie to myself or anyone else and say its a classic, 7/10.

BTW Glamous lifestyle slaps hella hard in the trunk if you got even a halfway decent set up in your ride :siccness: .

5 out of 10 - good but not great or a classic

theres 4 or so dope songs that have replay value for me. so even a 5 is pushing it.

in fact the philthy rich - funkseason mixtape will be getting more rotation than this cd. by all the singles he released i was expecting a classic. oh well

is it because theres too many different producers on the album? I miss the days when one producer does the entire album, when there are 10 different producers on a album it feels more like a compilation.
I wonder what it would have been like if Rob Lo did all the production

Only critique is that is was too many other niggas on the album. I'm tryna here Jack not a million other niggas. Reminded me of The Game's album. But it still slapp and is on rotation in the whip.

I'm really feelin this CD but i also think the Street Album was maybe a lil bit better, but if you say this cd is a 3/10 then ur a fuckin HATER for real.
I gave this CD a 7/10 and thats a real rating, and that has nuttin to do wit me being from the bay. I like the beats on this better then the Jack Artist, thats just my opinion

stfu with that hater shit. I can see that as a valid rating for this CD in some peoples eyes if you look at the features that just came average on the only dope songs on the cd.

There aint no reason to have that many features on your "highly anticipated solo."

7.0 out of 10

There are some good songs but not as dope as Jack Artist. I thought the beats would be A LOT better.

Still a solid album and one of the better albums of this year.

Me Too

MG and Bedrock had some good beats on there though

8.5/10

not a classic... not better than The Jack Artist... but the album was dope as fuck
I see everyone complaining about the features... but IMO the features were all dope for the most part... yeah I wouldn't mind if he cut them down a little bit... but most of them were solid

Rydah J. Klyde and Matt Blaque were dope on Summer, Sky Balla came hard, I was happy to hear Nickatina on the album, as well as E-40, Mitchy Slick was cool, The Freeway track was disappointing but he didn't ruin it. Freeway is a dope artist, and I was excited for his feature, the song was just a little boring overall. You damn near had to have Ampichino on the album, and Zion I came dope. The Cellski song is a fuckin banger... I can keep going... but basically every feature was good. Only one I didn't like was Paull Wall... the whole song sounded forced and thrown together, only song I always skip on the album.

everyone has different tastes, of course not everyone is going to rate the same, i gave it an 8.5/10 because a couple songs i didnt like, too many features and took too long to come out. Remember when tear gas kept getting pushed back?

overall tho this is a good album. Are the bonuses included? heavy rain, mob shit and the california?
