Huff was aight... wasn't great but wasn't garbage. I just don't think he's the big hitter that the experts/scouts said he was coming out of college.
Oh, ok I was just wondering. Everytime I hear dudes name I think of that game, probably because thats the first I heard of him.

*UPDATE*Darius Visiting Raiders *UPDATE*

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that free-agent safety Donovin Darius is expected to visit the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday, and that the Raiders are expected to attempt to sign him.

The Bills and Panthers also have expressed interest in the former Jaguar. But if the Raiders get their way, Darius will be wearing the silver and black before too long.

Darius is a strong safety, which is the same position that Michael Huff, the No. 7 overall pick in 2006, played last season. One of them would surely move to free safety, and both would be starters.

Come on Darius sign with the Silver and Black..... I would love to play with him on Madden... LOL

But for real that would be a huge addition to our squad. Since our corners play a lot of man coverage we could use Darius in the box to help with the run and leave Huff to use his coverage skills in the secondary.

Damn....If the Raiders don't sign him I got a feeling he'll sign with Carolina. Mike Minter is going to retire after the season and he probably wouldn't mind being on a defense with Peppers and Jenkins anyway. Not sure if he'd start in Carolina though. With the Raiders he'll have an opportunity to start. Keep us posted Mava...

The battle at safety is going to be great, come Training Camp. There shouldnt be any excuses, that this should be our best postion come regular season. The depth will be good, and whomever is there will have had to have earned the spot. I guess it goes unquestioned, to expect Great things from this part of the field.

I hope he he dose to, but the main reason i want the Raiders to sign to have leadership at the saftey.

but I could have sworn I've seen him clothesline someone coming across the middle of the field and got penalized for it.
That's what I was talking about.... I knew that was him. He put dude in the hospital and got fined for that hit...

Damn he left without sigining a contract. I think he's going to sign with Carolina... I could be wrong but I have a funny feeling he'll be playing for the Panthers. I hope I am wrong though...
