Raiders sign D Rhodes

I do. Write it down, remember it, take a picture of this post..
But I do believe this was a good move by Oakland. Their backs are just not good. LaMont is ass and Fargas is not a feature back. Rhodes really isn't much of a feature back himself, but if you can get Fargas to rotate a few reps they should be decent on the ground. Then again it all depends on their offensive line..
As for Lendale White.. He is far from garbage. He is a big reason Reggie did as well as he did at USC. Bush was a change of pace for White, who was a power back. I don't care if he did 6 reps of 225, it doesn't mean all that much. He can and will get it done in Tennessee.
But you raider fans need to remember what's happened these last few seasons. They make signings and bring in players who you guys think are going to get it done, and it doesn't happen. I don't see Kiffin being the authority figure who is going to overpower Al Davis' outdated ways. Davis is still going to be running the show, and that is very bad news for Oakland. Last season everyone was all wet because Art Shell was gonna coach again.. Look how well that worked for you. People thought Aaron Brooks would be good for them since he had experience and he could makes things happen with his legs.. Look how that worked for you. People were all wet because they got Randy Moss.. Look how that worked for you. I can go on and on, but there's no need. I guess the main point I'm trying to get across to you guys is you shouldn't get your hopes up. They will be an improved team in 07, but they will not be an immediate contender.

^ this season Kiffin completely cleaned house... got a whole new coaching staff and assistants.. the past Al always had his guys in place ( Freddie B, Willy Brown, etc . ) by the way Rhode said Kiffin plans to use him like he did Reggie Bush in USC.. and we just picked up Griffth FB from Atlanta.. just needa get this oline together and were good to go!

I LIKE THIS SIGNING. RHODES AND FARGAS WOULD BE A NICE TANDEM. SHIT EVEN RHODES AND JORDAN WOULD BE A NICE TANDEM. JORDAN IS NOT A FEATURE BACK, THIS IS EVIDENT, BUT OFF THE BENCH HE IS SOLID. I WOULDN'T SAY HE'S ASS EITHER. REMEMBER HE HAD A WORTHLESS LINE LAST YEAR. THE YEAR BEFORE THAT HE RUSHED FOR 1,000 YARDS.
THAT'S NOT ASS.
EITHER WAY RHODES IS A GOOD PICKUP FOR US. I'M NOT MAD AT THIS ONE AT ALL.
