It's one of those stoppages that I didn't like to see, especially in a fight like that, but I completely understand cuz dude was very wobbly and looked to be in big trouble. You got to put yourself in the Ref's shoes - he's probably worried about the fighters safety, and I'm sure he'd hate to see him get hurt badly, and then have to answer questions as to why he didn't stop the fight when the fighter was obviously hurt badly.
That was just innexperience.
An experienced ref wouldn't have jumped in so soon.

Not in the UK!! Over there when the hometown fighter hits the opponent with a two hit combo, the fight is automatically stopped and ruled a TKO, even if both punches are partially blocked!
