Radio Station I heard in Santa Cruz (95% Bay)

I was out there sat for a company party and when I got in the Watsonville area i started hitting the scan on the radio and came accross 97.9 El Fuego. It was around 12pm and song after song was all BAY. Heard Mr Kee, Federation, Mac Dre Thizzle Dance, Yuk Kidnap You, E-40 Mr Flamboyant, RBL, Celly Cell Its Going Down,Luniz,EA Ski, list goes on. That a major station in that area and is it like that 24/7 or are they a local College station or some shit? These cats had me anticipating the next track. I only heard 1 Jay-z track and a couple other East Coast tracks, some DJ Quik but for the most part was all BAY. Anyone know whwre the sation is based? Santa Cruz, Monterrey??

i think its based either out of monterey or salinas, i hear it all the time, whenever im south of san jose thats what i listen too, i was surprised like you about how much bay rap they play

Thas krazy, I've been to Santa Cruz and the only station that had rap was 95 somthin kdon. I'm a be there for christmas gotta check that out.
