By the way, no I didn't make up that definition myself. I was taught it by a professor in college in a class called "Racism" which dissected race as a human contruct created by white people to rationalize their inhumane actions toward people of color. Yes, I believe black people can be predjudice, but racism is a horse of another color, no pun intended. If you are not the superior race, you cannot be "racist". It is my belief based on my studies and what I have witnessed firsthand. You can disagree as you will.

still a cop-out. basing the fault on the language is not looking at the problem. regardless of who came up with the defiition it is all inclusive. People who hate other people because of the color of thier skin are racists.

A person who gets bullied, pushed around, talked down to, & hated on for no reason all his life by some random group of people will hate & dislike those people. Would you say it would be wrong for him to talk shit about them & hate them for what they did to him? Would you call him racist when he did not do anything to deserve the way he was treated? (random group of people = white people, person gettin messed with = blacks) That's what I think Sergeant Hustle is getting at when she says that black people cannot be racist.

The entire idea of race was created by white people in order to stratify , rationalize, and subjegate people of color to inhumane treatment.

Europeans took skull samples of African peoples and Asian peoples and judged that by the size of their skulls, African's were the least intelligent because their brains were smaller since they had "tiny skulls". Therefore that "race" of people was considered inferior and it was the duty of the Europeans with the fat heads to make these "heathens" their servants since they obviously couldn't be much more (forget about the pyramids and the fact that africans had been to the "Americas" years before white's ever touched ground there).

The point is, the construct of "race" was not created by people of color....it is a ficticious construct created by white people...they developed "race" and hate based on "race" which is "racism". Their hate based on race comes with a power behind it financially, politically, and within the government.

Black people can hate all they want, but in this society, they do not have the power to take over. Neither can Latinos or even Asians. They can hate whites, they can hate each other for God's sake, but all that hate doesn't amount to shit when you cannot institutionalize laws and regulations that enforce it.

Just because white people created racism, doesn't mean black people can't be racist aswell. White people created basketball too, are you gonna try and tell me black people don't play basketball. Just because you were taught that in school doesn't make it true. What ever word you use to describe it, it comes down to hate, and theres hate in every race.

Ok then how do you exlain what I went though growing up in EPA?

I was called a "burrito", "messican",
"Taco eatin muthafucka", "beaner", etc....
I was picked on for being Mexican, muthafuckas would always "try" to jump me.

And my homeboy from Panama who was a black latino was called a "black messican".....

And these were all black folks doin this....

I have to disagree with you...If I said that all mexicans work the fields for a living i'd be prejudice because i'm pre-judging them, now if I said I HATE mexicans then I would be racist because I hate their race (I dont think either of those two things i'm just using mexicans as an example)
