It looks like Anaheim vs SJ in the Western Finals.
I know it is too early to tell, but with Anaheim being 3-0 and SJ being 2-0, that is obviously where we are headed.

It would be nice since at least one team from Cali will fight for the cup. I still want the Ducks to play Edmonton, so we can keep home ice.

This game is intense. Even though Edmonton is dominating statistically, I just don't see the Sharks losing this game. Something about their play makes them seem more confident and more composed than Edmonton...and it's not just Toskala. We'll see soon enough.

...back to OT...

All-in-all, I'm rooting for Ottawa, though. But they'll probably choke like they do every year.
It has become a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point. Ottawa will never another Stanley Cup until their roster is turned upside down and completely redone. It's the same group of core players, and they always fail to get it done. So now, I guess I'm rooting for the Sharks, not only because I said I would, but also because I hate every other team remaining.

The Sharks-Oilers series was the only good second round matchup. I'm very interested to see what happens today. It'll probably be the best game of the playoffs so far. Edmonton has the momentum, but I think the Sharks are a better team, I'm not even going to try to make a prediction on this one...I haven't had one correct prediction anyhow. (By the way, I think they should start Toskala this game even though he had a pretty bad one on Friday, it will bolster his confidence.) And if the Sharks lose on home ice, it could be all over for them.

Yeah they should start Toskala because if they put in Nabakov, he hasn't played in a while and is probably rusty and Toskala will be so low in confidence if they move on and use him later in the playoffs I think his play will suffer.
