I'm about to vent to ya! My siccness fam! Please don't let anyone fool ya into believing I ain't the originator and creator of BOTH these slogans/names/music!

I just had it today when I heard for the last time who the prince or king of "R-N-Bay" is or these young cats claimin' "Bayggaeton"! I've been putting it down on both those names for years and NOT ONE time did anyone claim my shit or even give me ONE second of their time to listen except for several siccness cats. The only difference with me and any of these cats is that RADIO push! If some of ya remember back in "2003" when I had some 94.9 time I was throwin' "R-N-Bay" out like it was the only word I knew! Now someone else came up with that shit? Could it possibly be the same folks that were on these boards a little while back who heard me and said I was sick for comin up with that? I think so! Now Bayggaeton! As if it ain't hard to bust into the English market, the Spanish market is hard than a mufucka! I've been doin' a zillion shows from here to Texas, Texas to Miami and all over Cali and now I got some young cats claimin they came up wit my shit after hearing me on a radio show and then coming out to one of my shows! Now I didn't come up with that either? I got shirts, posters, thongs, CD's and more with both slogans all over it and I'm not the real mufucka huh?

If you read this I appreciate you for hearin' me out! I just need to vent and let cha' know who the originator of both slogans is, so that when and if you hear it you know where it came from! Can I please not have any haters respond and if you do, do it on my "PM"

I'm just saying! COME UP WITH YOUR OWN SHIT or let a mufucka get some love and network with me instead of RIPPIN' ME OFF!

first off, Maitai, keep doin your thing....second, Valentine has nothing on Mike Meezy vocally.....If u really listen to the music, Valentine's voice is not strong at all and actually can sound kind of corny a lot of the time...Mike Meezy is a proven veteran and until somebody new out here can say that they have done more for bay area music than Mike Marshall, he IS the king of R&Bay

There is so much talent in the Bay and vocalist out here who can go harder than me and who I can shit on but that's not the point I'm makin'! Matai: I know you been claimin RnBay and Bayggaeton first. I've seen it here on BART and on myspace for a few years so, fuck the rest. But seriously, quit bitchin about this petty shit and just come with some good music and then we'll worry about who came with what first. That's what happens to ALL who put out names on the "internet" and then wonder why cats be biting. Bottom line, if you're going to shout out a new slang word and/or new terms of the game, make damn sure you're coming out with the product within a short amount of time or else, it will be stolen in a matter of time. When will you younsters learn??? Grow up, man up and make good music. I'm just really tired of everyone in the Bay bitchin about who stole they're fucking slang word....geeeeeez fucking whiz.

The name came from a samoan cat who was one of my fathers best friends! Instead of callin' me and my brothers "chief" he called us 'matai's" I've had it ever since then dawg! DankSinatra! Hit me you beezle!! lol!! For everyone else who's shown love and respect THANK YOU! I was just lookin' to vent feel me? East side! Whatever mane! hit me when you need a hook or beat!

I swear to God, on everything I love, when I first heard Big Von call J Valentine the king of RNBay, I thought about you, Matai.

Rhythm has good advice though...keep your game to yourself until you are ready to really put that shit out there, cuz someone is gonna love to run with it before you can.
