Raider fans how does this make you feel? They have yet to make any moves to help the team signifcantly. Is this worrisome to you? Do you like the wait and see attitude? Do you really believe the draft will turn you around in 1 year?



This is serious now, so I don't want any smart ass answers!

If I were a Raider fan I would be very very frustraded at the lack of moves being made. Sure you were good on defense, but nothing spectacular, and nothing to stand pat on and concentrate only on offense with.

AT FIRST I WAS A BIT WORRIED BECAUSE OF OUR LACK OF MOVES IN FREE AGENCY, BUT AFTER TAKING A DEEP BREATH AND SEEING IT FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS I'M OK WITH IT.

THE RAIDERS AS AN ORGANIZATION HAVE BEEN WAY TO RELIANT ON FREE AGENCY IN RECENT YEARS. WE CONTINUE TO TAKE A COUPLE OF BIG NAME PLAYERS, YEAR AFTER YEAR, TRYING TO PLUG HOLES AND MAKE THE TEAM INTO A CONTENDER OVER-NIGHT. IT ALMOST WORKED IN 2002 BUT THEN WE GOT SMASHED IN THE SUPERBOOWL. WE TRIED FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS BUT WE HAVE BEEN ABISMAL. THIS OFF-SEASON IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRUELY BUILD THE TEAM THROUGH THE DRAFT. WE CAN AND WILL POSSIBLY DRAFT A FRANCHISE QB IN RUSSEL OR QUINN AND POSSIBLY EVEN TAKE A RUNNING BACK AND/OR OFFENSIVE LINEMAN AS WELL IN A LATER ROUND. WE HAVE MOSS TO TRADE FOR AS WELL. IT WON'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT BUT WE WILL BE MUCH CLOSER AFTER THIS DRAFT AND THEN MAYBE NEXT OFF-SEASON WE CAN REALLY MAKE SOME FREE AGENCY MOVES TO GET THIS THIS GOING FORREAL.

THIS IS OUR FIRST OFFSEASON IN MANY THAT WE ARE TRUELY REBUILDING.
