Magzines, Word of Mouth, A couple good sources-myself.

I feel my opinion weighs alot. I have been studying this Bay Area/Sacramento independent music thing since 1992. I'm not the most high, but I know the real and talented when I see or hear them. There are alot of artists out here in the Bay, hundreds to be exact. No, not all are worthy, but if you got skills, you have an opportunity to do the damn thang. Its all about promotion. Every one has to do it, come up with the most effective ways (consistantcy counts) Start a couple months before you drop. Pick up the pace 3 weeks before your street date, Pump the F@#k out of the album to get preorders, this is the only way you will BLOW Up. Just putting albums on the shelf isnt enough, its all about the HYPE, and who you know-Peace

1) RADIO by far for the "average" music listener.
2) VIDEO
3) WORD OF MOUTH(the true hustling way) LIL FLIP is #1 and C BO is #2 in underground rap as far as how an artist can spread by word or mouth.
