Why is the title "Dirty South" instead of something like S.E.A.T.T.L.E. or something like that? Seems like that's a more prominent part of the song and also of course Dirty South is kind of misleading for someone not from around here looking at the track list.

What was the rationale behind this decision????

Yeah I knew what it meant from the beginning but Dirty South isn't really said at all in the song, it's "dirty southside." And also the "S.E.A.DoubleT.L.E." is a much more prominent part of the song. I wonder if it has something to do w/ there already being a song called "South Seattle" b/c maybe they didn't want to have Seattle in two of the track titles.

And as for the quality of this song, that's not even an issue w/ me. It is my favorite track on the album, it is currently my favorite rap track out of Seattle of all-time, fucking unbelievable beat and lyrics, I play it before every Seahawks game, if there wasn't cussing I'd have it be the song they play when I walk up to the plate here.

I'm just wondering a little about the title, hopefully D-Sane or someone else can shed some light.

I'm actually with you on this one....but it was 151's decision. I wanted to call it "S.E.A.DoubleT.L.E." or somethin' like that.....but your theory is correct. The South Seattle song was done first.

lol @ playing it before SeaChickens games. (hopefully they'll make us proud this year)
