Yeah some amps will say that they are 1200 watts but you just need to pay attention to the RMS wattage. I had a 250watt rms infinity sub with a 2x125watt rms Pioneer amp and it hit hard for only being a 10'' sub. If you want to check out some stuff in person go to a stereo shop or whatever and figure out what you like then find that shit on e-bay. I got almost all of my shit on e-bay and it was way cheaper that way.
hell yeah make sure u look @ RMS WATTAGE make sure that matches up with the subs u got, the amp can say 5,000,000 watts and only be 5 watts rms and u wont get no slap that "peak" shit is bullshit jus match the rms as far as jl audio idk how good their amps are. hopefully u didnt already make a mainey purchase and waste hella money but a mono amp will give u more slapp

Cheaper Than ebay and faster. My first system came from ebay. I ordered my subs on this site and the packaging was excellant. Ebay is ok but shipping kills you on ebay now a days. Ebay aint what it used to be. You should check this site out and compare. I but they come out on top. Also they ship fast as hell.

^^you have to know the company your ordering from. The site I listed packages subs extremly well. If you order from some unknown company that looks like tripod.com is hosting them lol then your gonna get what you pay for. That site i showed you is part of the better business bureau. over 4 sites certified them as a good business member and they have 256 BIT Encryption so your credit card is secure in a transaction. I used to shop for the cheapest site but what good is it if your subs come to you fucked up with no foam or anything protecting them or any insurance or warantee if it gets messed in the mail.
^^there is trade offs. If shit goes wrong you cant go back to your local audio shop and ask them to fix it. However if you know what your doing this is not an issue. I have insurance through state farm and made sure to keep all my receipts and everything this time around and they assured me my system is insured.
^^^hahahahahah tight shit. MY first system was stolen and I was in socal and didnt have state farm anymore and my other insurance company which was AIG wouldnt cover shit. State Farm doesnt even want proof just told me the claim ajuster could tell by the wiring in the car. I said well Im still keeping my receipts and all so i know what i have and how much its all worth. I also got renters insurance through them.
