QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO KNOW ABOUT CAR SPEAKERS..

naw, u can take out ur existing speaker and change the wires to ur new sub if u want, it wont have tremendously great sound quality or bump cause ur running it off of a head unit amp, u mite need 2 get a sub amp too, also if ur wires are thin get sum monster cable at radio shack or a car place, tha smaller tha gauge tha better
The best thing to do is get everythin brand new. And i recommend that you get component sets for you front & rear seats...Dont get 10's playa, at least get 12's. Run one amp to them and another to your mids & tweets. It is also smart to get an extra battery so you can listen to your car when its not on, or when it is on...the lights arent always gettin juiced
Justin, no offense but to me it seems like you have NO idea whats goin on with systems. If you don't have any friends that could go with you somewhere to buy shit, you better just go to circuit city and ask them what they think would be good for your car. Definatley don't go to some custom auto shop and be like duuuuuhhhhh most will fuck you in a minute.

If you're gonna get woofers, you don't have to worry about it cuz they come with their own box.
Well you can buy them individually but you'll still need the box or boxes.
Go to an audio car shop over any commercial store.
They have more variety and will customize the box(s) to fit your trunk.
I would go with 12" woofers over 10" any day.
You're going to need an amp too so make sure you have dual rca jacks on your deck to control both your inside speakers and subs independantly.
I would recommend gettin Kicker "solo baric" it's what I have.
All I got is a 500 watt amp and it rocks the shit out my speakers.
But you can go all out and get yourself a 1000 watt amp.
Get professional sound equipment!

I blew out 8 sorry ass speakers one time.
Bose and infinity, which were mids and tweets.
So I got me a hold of some Soundstream component speakers and they've lasted me over 3 years.

THE THING IS I ALREADY BOUGHT NEW SPEAKERS 4''6 PIONEER IN THE FRONT AND SOME KENWOODS IN THE BACK.. I HAVE A FOUR YEAR WARRENTY AND I ONLY HAD THEM FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS, BUT WERE I'M GETTING AT IS WHEN MY SPEAKERS BLOW OUT WITHIN MY WARRENTY CAN I STILL GET 10'' OR 12'' SPEAKERS IN REPLACEMENT INSTEAD OF 4''6?? DON'T GET ME WRONG THOSE LITTLE SPEAKERS BE HITTIN HARD BUT WHEN THOSE ARE DONE FOR I WOULD LIKE TO GET BETTER QUALITY SHIT.. BY THE WAY I GOT MY SPEAKERS AT BEST BUY BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YALL THINK CIRCUT CITY IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET THEM..

It looks like you really don't know much about stereo equipment. I would suggest doing some research on-line. There are hundreds of sites to help you out. They have message boards, installation instructions, etc.
And like someone else suggested...don't start messin' around with your shit if you don't know what you're doing.
