I understand what you mean...

honestly, it wouldnt matter as much...i would be more concerned with his life experiences and who he identified with..If he has been treated like a white man all his life and thats who he saw himself as, then this moment wouldnt be as monumental....I believe Obama experienced racism in his life, i believe he has experienced being a minority in society, especially with his wife and kids...

At the end of the day for me, it doesnt matter what color he is/was, I care more about his stance and his outlook on life...whats the point of having a full black president who rather be white and doesnt have the poor or minorities in mind?(as well as everyone else)..Whats the point of having a black male and the only thing black(or minority) about him is the color of his skin? That doesnt do us any good..its still color in the white house, but the outlook isnt a person of color...Obama is not a stereotypical black person, which is a good thing IMO....

I find it sad that Whites can claim the man as well, but SOME choose to only associate him with being black..oh well..thats your loss...if they dont want to claim him, then black people will..and we will be happy about it...
