SO in the regular ds you can get this game card thing right

let me show you a picture hold on

what this is, is a game card just like any other ds game it fits into the game slot

however this game card allows you to slot your own memory stick inside it - a memory stick onto which you have saved nintendo ds game roms downloaded from your pc.

you get this game card, download roms onto your memory stick, put the memory stick into the game card, stick the game card into your ds and play the games without paying a penny for them

the new DSi already has a SD memory card slot on it and i am wondering whether i can get an SD memory card, put game roms on it and then put it straight into the DSi to play the games?

please answer my question immediately

thanks in advance

dude im sorry i cant answer your question, but can you tell me how to do this whole game downloading thing and where I can get one of these cards? If you wanna keep your thread from getting Off topic then you can PM me

IMO it should work out if it reads it off the SD card anyway but i reckon this thing isnt DS approved. I cant see how it would be so maybe in the DSI they fixed it up where the SD slot wont read the burnt games

just search for ds roms on google

it is the same thing as if your were using an emulator on your pc

you download the roms, put them on your memory stick

the memory stick will go into a game card (which you have to buy over the internet)

you then stick this game card into your ds as yo would any other game and play the roms on your ds

I doubt that the DS would just let you put an SD card with games on it and let you play. That's just my guess.

You would probably still have to use the R4.
i suppose your right

might have to wait for some computer guys to come out with a firmware hack or something like that..

funny thing is i always used to think the ds was like for kids but now im seeing its got a lot of good games, even better than the psp and now i want one lol

there is also another game card called the DS TT or something like that but they all do the same thing
