Question about the Cali Court System

How old do you gotta be to choose which parent you wanna live wit? Cause I gotta go to court tomorrow to see if i can move to my moms. i'm 16 and i'm livin with my dad right now and i wanna go live with my mom. I was just wonderin if anybody know what happens in a custody battle and if the kid has any input in deciding where they want to live.

Thats not a Cali court issue it depends on how they get down in that paticular county
