true, but that doesnt mean all companies let that be the reason. you may know for a fact that Costco dont but dont put that past just any job. some jobs grab random people once a month or what ever the fuck. but it would be common knowledge at your job if they were to hire you.....

plus Coscto got them fork lifts. most jobs where your operating machinery like lifts and all that shit, you would get drug tested if you hit someone and also if someone were to hit you, even if you were walking. they might be on some of that shit.

if anything you could get annual. if they are cool youll get a heads up from management . any management that doesnt give u a heads up probably dont want you there.... so be cool and theyll probably let u know.....

i worked around heavy machinery for a winery and we only got drug tested when we were hired

then after that point only if you gave them a reason, they tested you

im pretty sure costco doesnt test unless u give em a reason

I been at Costco for 3 years, everybody there smokes...when we all started they told us straight up that they wont do any test unless ur a forklift driver and are involved in an accident. I been planning on making a costco thread, its the shit.

Keeping fake Pisa n the car still won't do any good..if there's an accident or injury someone from the management team will drive you to the clinic themselves..I work n Tracy at the kellogs warehouse and I've dropped a heavy ass pallet on my foot and had to sav it out with it all bruised up..2 of my co workers smacked each other on the forklifts and they both got drove to the clinic and one had weed n his system..jus stay on your toes and be alert..

yeah generally if your doing warehouse work and operating fork lifts and you hit or get hit in one...its a drug test for both parties...friend of mine was fired because a dude at his work didnt like him and he knew that he was smokin....so guess what..dude hit him, passed his test and got my boy fired...thats some shit

That's fucked. I'm pretty sure it releases their liability for insurance purposes if either party involved in the incident comes up with dirty piss...so yea if there's any type of accident you'll get tested.

I know someone who was a forklift driver @ CostCo who dropped a pallet full of stuff got drug tested and failed for opiates. Lost his job for a year and a half and after fighting and fighting they gave him his job back.

This person smokes weed, drinks a lot and does pills a lot too. So I believe the info is correct that you only get tested if you fuck up, and especially if you fuck up driving a forklift. A report get's filed. I do not know if California law is different based on the medical marijuana laws as well. This was in Arizona.
