Put Litter In It's Place!

Have you ever looked at maybe a fast food bag, possibly from McDonald's. On the side of some of them, it says, "Please put litter in it's place." Well, isn't litter's place on the side of the freeway? Isn't that why it is called litter? Is this a loophole in the system? Freeways have signs that say $250 fine for littering. But I wonder if you got by a cop and you showed him the bag that said, "Please put litter in it's place" if you could get away with it.

I suppose, if a cop pulls you over for speeding and asks "do you know how fast you were going?" you could say he was asking you because he didn't know how fast you were really going. Tell the judge......."This cop had to ask ME how fast I was going?" "How the hell does he know I was doing 65 in a 40?"
