and your opinions of them? Shit I'm contemplating on whether I should keep my new slim ps2, it's sooo fuckin small and I'm skeptical about it's performance.

^^have heard stories...might just be rumors of the slim playstation over-heating due to its lack of a fan like the larger one has...and is not compatible with the hard drive (which most ppl dont even care)

i only use my ps2 for the gta series. havent bought a non gta game for ps2 since i got my xbox 3 years ago.

as far as xbox,i dont really touch mine..only exclusive games they have is halo and halo 2 really...and i just cant get into that futuristic type shit,would rather play socom 2 on ps2 as an online shooter...GTA,metal gear,and gran turismo 4 are reasons enough alone to get a ps2 over an xbox...xbox doesnt have any games that can compete with those as of now

it just all comes down to games for me,sure it more powerful and all that,but just like the vareity of games that ps2 offers

I got Ps2, Gamecube, and XBOX, out of the three the XBOX gets the most play, I hardly even touch the Ps2 anymore...

I can get most any new game out here for $48.88... but my sons are only 10 and 12.. so they arent ones to HAVE to have the game the same day it comes out.. if you let a month or so go by they go on sale.. usually $40.. Christmas Eve I went to Fred Meyers (I'm not sure how large their chain of stores is..) with a $10 off any X-Box game... the kid working gave me his discount and I left with 4 games for $90... Fight for NY, some wrestling game.. shit, I dont know the names of them.. my boys give me a list.. lol..

xbox is by far a lot better, its got a pentium processor, a huge hard that you can upload hella cds onto and play a lot of different games with the custom soundtracks you put on to it, it has way better graphics which makes the gameplay a lot better because most of the games are for both systems, the only thing ps2 has that xbox doesnt at this point is San Andreas which im sure will come out for xbox some time just like GTA 3 and vice city did, xbox has halo and halo 2 IMO best FPS ever, i owned 2 ps2's and they both broke within a year then i got an xobox and ive had it for about 3 years and hella of my homies ps2s have broken recently

Good lookin out folks. I've made up my mind on returning the ps2 and GTA - san andreas for cash back. I hope circuit city will let me return an open box ps2 which I foolishly opened on X-Mas. I haven't played GTA yet lol, but to cop the double pack for xbox. I used to be a game freak on NES (contra was the fucken shiiiet) and SNES, since them games w/discs came out I haven't played much video games. I'm startin to get into this shit again though. I got an Xbox w/halo 2, I fuckin hate FPS games shit gets me hella dizzy in shit, feelin like I gotta throw up, it's all bad. But I had to get halo 2, now I regret. Only games I like that I've played so far on xbox are prince of persia and ninja gaiden.
