PS2 online network adapter help

my shit wont go online, thru my cable internet or dial up. my modem detecs it and says theres packets running thru and wat not but it just wont connect to anything. i unplugged the hard drive but that didnt help.

unplugg your modem. It has to detect the new IP adress from the ps2. If you had it plugged to your pc it's still reading that Ip.

Fuck I had that problem and thought I had a faulty Network adapter so my dumb ass bought a new one that connects through the usb, that shit didn't work either. Then I got on a site and they said that same shit Mr. Manlow said, Unplug your modem because it can't read 2 i.s.p. at the same time so when you plug it in to the ps2. It was bitter sweet when it worked, because I thrrew 20 bucks on a new one, don't make the same mistake I did, unplug it and put ehternet adapter in and it should be all gravy baby. Without online play sports games just aren't as competititive, go swoop that NFL 2k5 for whatever system u got 20 bucks is chunk change, evenn
