I just got back from New York City last night, and I gotta post this up about my journey of promoting Tech N9ne within a day. Anyways, it was the 14 (which was a Tuesday), so like any kid bored, I walked throughout Times Square. I bought a couple Tech N9ne CD's to pass out, since I don't have any samplers. So, with rockin' the baggy-ass Tech N9ne t-shirt I've pretty much worn every week since I got it at the Hostile Takeover tour with a Tech bandana over my face, I walked down to the MTV studios in Times Square. Originally I planned to hit up 106 & Park, but the tickets had to be purchased 6 weeks in advance, so instead I stood outside MTV while they were doing Total Request Live.

Anyways, I'm down at the MTV studios at around 1:00, and I start to notice that there's the usual crowds of teenage girls and shit. Turns out that the Backstreet Boys were actually there to promote their new album of garbage. So under those circumstances, I started to talk with some people, and see if they would give Tech N9ne a shot. These two white ho's thought I was some Slipknot fan (no offense to the Slipknot fans), just because of what was written on the t-shirt. So I have a couple girls from Harlem listening to the Absolute Power album, and they likin' Tech's music (keep in mind, I had my CD player which had Absolute Power in it). That is, until I pull out a copy of Absolute Power in the case, and the girls are immediately turned off cuz of the image rather than the music.

So sum it up all up, I got my 15 seconds of fame when the camera panned, with my middle fingers in full on Tech gear. After the show, I handed off a copy to a couple people there, and two days later while heading out for the airport, I ran into Bam Margera and handed him a copy of Anghellic.

With that all settled, I'ma see if I can go down to Power 106 out here in Los Angeles, and see if they'll accept "Jellysicle" into their rotation.

Ya i did some promoting for him too, i passed out like 200 6 track cds of tech shit, their were like 5 different copies and shit. Alot of the people who heared it were like that shit was raw as fuck, who is that nigga again, and i would show them who he is and shit and they jus kinda back off and be like what the fuck wit that dudes image, but alot of the real mufuckas recognised and shit and were like ya that dude look fuckd up but he raw as fuck. naw but i realized that alot of metal dudes were like that was the only rapper they have ever actually liked and shit, so i think he's doing rite wit his music but alot of stupid faciest mufucas dont like him only cuz of his image, i think that some stupid shit personaly but as they say i guess real recognize real, and when the real dudes heard his shit they showed loved. any way that just my story on dat, aight peace.

I have the old, original CKY boxset DVD's and CKY4. I remember alot of people buying them for alot of $$, I wonder how much they're worth now.

damn, I heared the KUTT version of "Lemme put you on the Game"...and damn, him and Kaliko's flows are not surprisingly way better than Game's.

those dvds probably aren't worth shit cuz i see them EVERYWHERE. Reguardless I don't think it gets better than CKY2K

Fuck yeah dude, lol, that would be tight to see, it's just too bad I hate TRL.. So, did Bam even know who Tech N9ne was? I met him at the Mall of America for some skate comp or some shit, he seemed more heavy metal and punk to me. Did he say anything?
