it was a great album...17 tracks just like ICP's shitty "Shangri-La" album, but way better and wicked.
the only things I didn't like about the Self Inflicted album is how the last track "Flashback" because of how it's just a track filled with snips from each track....I guess they put it on their for people who haven't heared the cd sampler or something. Also, I wish Tech rapped a little longer on "Access Denied".
but yeah, this album gave me a taste of BREED for the first time and I must say that Breed's a pretty damn good rapper!! UMZ records (Rudeboy's record company) gots a damn good rapper in their stable and I cannot wait to check out his video that feature's Easy-E's son, BONE, KMK, Tech N9ne, Kaliko, etc!! "Body Bags" with The Dayton Family was also tight as fuck.
but yeah, after listening, I have to say that "Self Inflicted" has to be one of the best wicked albums ever. Prozak sounds like a mixture of Jumpsteady's voice especially with all the deep stuff he be rappin about along with Esham-like lyrics. I dig "Self Inflicted" as much as Esham's "Tongues" album...a masterpeice.
I'd like to see Kaliko do some shit with PDM cause of his wicked-gospel-like Hip Hopera.
Mad props to Mike E. Clark on the production of this album!! it really refined me as a "Wicked Shit" music fan that ICP USED TO make me feel...but we'll see how they come out on "Hell's Pit". One last thing, the girl who sings on some of the tracks sounds good!! I'd like to hear her do some kind of duet with Kaliko.
