I'd rather teach my kid how to use a firearm safely just in case of an emergency then to teach them how to be a trick.

my dad took me to the shootin range. I'm glad he took me. I'm not one to advocate gun use or glorify it so that young kids would be more drawn to guns, but I do think that people esp. kids should be educated on proper gun use.
