naw this what happened i got home my computer was fuicked up so i went to go buy me a new computer and when i connected to that computer wit wont work wit it shits pissin me off the ipod is frozen when i plug it in to trhe computer it reads unknownm and when i plug it in to the wall adapter it still wont respond oh and i got a video ipod i had a gateway computer windows xp professional but now i gots a sony vaio windows xp home media edition 2005 wtf is wrong!!!!!

Did u install the Ipod software/drivers on ur new computer?

Try http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/ ...if u dont find anything there and/or ur Ipod wont respond go to your local Apple store and hit up the Genius Bar(Technical Support).

When mine freezes I just reboot my ipod.....hold the menu button and the center button for about 10 seconds and it will shut down and reboot and be back to normal.

actually, you have to toggle the hold button back and forth a couple times first......then hold down both the center button and menu until it shutz down & you see the apple logo.......you might have to do this a couple of times

by frozen on a song u mean its stuck on a song that was playing, right? thats strange.....i suggest u go to an Apple store and have it checked....

that happened to my dad's ipod shuffle... he went to the apple store in union square and complained... so they gave him a new one just like that

ey ey, go to the apple store!! they got one in almost all of the big malls nowadays.

they'll check up on it, look for problems, and fix it.. if they can't, they'll give you a FREE replacement! you dont even need your original receipt or any proof that you purchased it. i went with my cousin cause his ipod wouldn't turn on AT ALL. they replaced it for him on the spot!! exaaact same ipod.
