Solid CD...There's a few songs that I wasn't feeling, not because they were bad, just that they didn't stand out enough for me, although they'd probably be good as soundtrack/compilation-type tracks: "Choices", "Malitia Musik", and "Confused."

Otherwise, enough of the songs work to make NO COMPROMISE dope. My favorites are "Money Talks", "Back To '89", "Papa", "No Compromise" (w/Hitman--R.I.P.), "Money, Greed, Weed", "Power, Paper and Politics", "Anotha Day" (w/ Moe Da Hustla, Dre Mack and The Clicka), "Play For High Stakes", and "Malitia Anthem" (w/ Hitman, Black C., Moe The Hustler, Toe The Tagger, Alias and Simon from Military Minded). The production was basically of a piece w/ RBL's HOSTILE TAKEOVER (which I dug once I got used to it back in 2001).

Overall, I wouldn't consider NO COMPROMISE a classic, but it's worth getting if you're a Right Way fan. Prime's good to begin with, but practice will make him even better, IMHO. Put it this way: you might not love NO COMPROMISE, but you'll probably at least like it, and that counts for something (how many Rap CDs have you said THAT about lately?) Just my view, though...

PEACE!

Yeah, but THAT's a different fellow. Good question, though...

Is Prime Minister that christian dude?
Yeah, there is a Prime Minister who is a Christian rapper. But that Prime Minister's from Chicago and records for Grapetree Records (at least he did during the late '90s'). Only one of his CDs I ever heard was PRIME TIME from '97/'98...it's OK if you're into that sort of thing, but when I'm feeling spiritual, I prefer Al Green's gospel CDs (THE LORD WILL MAKE A WAY and HIGHER PLANE, especially).

PEACE!

I hadn't heard much from Prime until I grabbed this album. I was really impressed. Solid album with a good track to track flow...
